Tarabaralla is attention grabbing once again! He and KingRoyale are the only game to be played still...the tension continues to mount as they stall out - when will this final qualifier game be played the fans wonder!

As for the prediction challenge - we all whiffed on several qualifiers! I promise next time I will just rattle off the games to my kids and have them pick the one that sounds the coolest...can not do worse than we are!

Due to some connection problem of mines not even the involved coaches know when it is going to be played the last game... rumours say I'm going to lose to avoid playing flings! At least that will counter the sadness of going so close to the 2nd Vampire top-8 ever (and with the same team!) just to fail at the last match!

The quarterfinals and semifinals passed in a blur - and it is down to the final two teams...match is set for TODAY!

Burn Notice - the mangled remains of a once proud Skaven team

{B} Jigers Death Squad - the seemingly unstoppable juggernaut of clawpomb death guided by a super freak dark elf

Looks like an interesting final. I'll go out on a limb and predict the rats squeak this one out on the backs of the Gutter Runners and their blitzer. I think it may come at a heavy cost, but such is the price of a tourney crown.

I wonder if Burn Notice is the lowest TV team to win a major. 1670 at kick-off of the final. I did a quick trawl and couldn't find one lower.

That said, it does seem that TVs in majors (and probably across the board) are generally lower under CRP than in the lrb4 era.

I doubt they are the lowest TV team to enter a major and win - since they entered the major at 1820. TV ranged from 1670 to 1910 during the tournament.

Game 1: 1820 (apoth) vs 1930 Nurgle
Game 2: 1910 (babe/wizard) vs 2110 Nurgle
Game 3: 1670 vs 1680 Amazon
Game 4: 1810 (wizard) vs 1960 Pro Elf
Game 5: 1880 vs 1650 Wood Elf (babe/wizard)
Game 6: 1910 (wiz/bribe/apoth) vs 2270 Chaos
Game 7: 1670 (wiz/babe) vs 1870 Chaos Pact

For Jigers Death Squad:
Game 1: Forfeit
Game 2: 1870 vs 1690 Dwarf (babe/chainsaw)
Game 3: 1900 (wizard) vs 2020 Dwarf
Game 4: 1860 (wizard) vs 1950 Dark Elf (babe)
Game 5: 1910 (wizard/2 babe/2 apoth) vs 2390 Nurgle
Game 6: 1900 (wizard) vs 2000 Nurgle (babe)

So both teams in the finals were in the same 1850-1900 range - with Burn Notice dipping lower when their stars were MNG for a few games.

Seems like that is the ideal range to have a well built team with depth - but also generally being able to get the wizard that is so crucial in many games.
