Could you imagine what [B] would look like if Ogres were good? *shudder*

Make all ogres 120k maybe 130k in crp, they were 120 in lrb and I don't think anyone thought they were under priced

Make ogres 0-8
Give snotlings the original titchy rule giving the posibility of having 16 players on the field at once then they would be playable but still pretty rubbish.

Weapons, erm... weapons and.... Oh yeah, more weapons....
Pump Wagon
Doom Diver Catapult
Chainsaw (although falling would hurt +3 to an av5 player)
Squigs of some sort
And if I had my way a Shokk Attack Gun (yes I know this is from 40k but it was the coolest weapon, ever!!!!)

@Kam: for the record, Duder is quoting the NTBB Ogre team right. And it didn't change in the 2013 update.
NTBB has never had a rule the nerfed or removed TTM on the other Stunty teams.

Maybe you could give Ogre ogres pro, with the fluff being that the ogres who really show a bit of talent for the game get together rather than joining other races. /putting-it-out-there

The NTBB change sounds pretty reasonable.

Now I'm confused then. What does this mean?

Quote:
Changelog 2012
Right Stuff change: Moved to just Titchy - The other stunty sides get a 10K RR discount instead.

But that's off-topic and maybe that conversation should be continued somewhere else.

To be honest I'm not sure why they were given snotlings. The don't have a natural affinity for them. Warhammer Ogres are associated with Gnoblars (and were made to mind Halflings. Blood Bowl Ogres were to replicate the Oldheim Ogres team that played with mostly Ogres and some Goblins, just like the lrb one.

I don't think there was a real problem with the LRB roster, but potentially there could have been.

If it were me I'd suggest the following:

Team 1: Trolls

0-16 Trolls
0-16 Snotlings (bumped a little)
0-2 Pump Wagons

Team 2: Ogres
0-16 Gnoblars ST 1 (No titchy)
0-8 Ogres

Team 3: Oldheim
0-6 Ogres
0-16 Goblins

Everyone should be happy then (apart from those who don't want anymore rosters).

What about going back the 2nd edition style - having ogre blockers (as they currently are, maybe with a 10k or 20k price reduction), and having ogre blitzers as well (probably same cost as now or even a touch more, with G access and maybe +AG or +MA)?

The snotlings I don't really care about - they can be fun, and certainly annoying to face without tackle - but the team mostly suffers because in CRP most big guys are over-costed and generally not worth taking.

I like the Narrow-Tier Blood Bowl 2012 Ogre fix:

A 10K discount on both ogres and rerolls, along with +1MA and +1AV on snotlings for free. Finally, Titchy prevents attackers from using Tackle on the block dice.

I really like this idea, but I would call the snots Gnoblars (which is GW fluff right?) or add a couple of gobbos to the roster as well - it would hardly make them overpowered.

Also make big guys immune to claw (someone else suggested this in a cpmomb thread).

I've been playing almost exclusively Ogres recently and it's been the most fun I've had playing BB.

The biggest drawback is the lack of normal access to general skills but I guess there isno way to fix that and stay true to the fluff.

Anyways check out my team it's superawesome Very Happy

That was about Right Stuff cancelling Tackle on blocks, which was moved to Titchy.

6 ogres are not enough, 0-12 would still be reasonable.

7 ogres would be enough for me

0-1 ogre tyrant - normal stats but no bonehead and G access
0-6 ogres - as per
0-2 Gnoblar Fighters - st2,no titchy, access to G
0-16 Gnoblar Scum - as per snots

Snotlings are never annoying to face. They are SPP gold. Most players get 3D since ST3 needs exactly 0 assists for it, any player with block will bring down a snotling 70% of the time and av5 means almost every time they go down, they are close to being hurt. Add in mighty blow and/or piling on then they are as close as you get in the game to guaranteed SPP.
