what firewall have you got. probably best to uninstall it and just install MSE.

If it is not a firewall issue then uninstall java completely then reinstall it.

But really more info is needed to help here. What error messages do you get, what do you see in the java console. etc....

well first try uninstalling java completely then reinstalling it.

if you are still having problems after that uninstall your firewall and install MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) instead.

ah right, try this -
right click on my computer
go to properties
click on advanced system settings
under performance, click settings
click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
click Add, browse to the executable file for the program and add it.

it seems to be a Buffer Overflow Exception

Yeah with the .jnlp file then try and run it. If that doesn't work then I'm out of suggestions.

I would but DEP back how it was too.

hmm, that maybe because it is trying to locate java from the jre7 folder instead of jre6.

when you uninstall java make sure you have removed all the updates etc too so there is not a trace of it on your system then try and reinstall it.

But I am pretty stumped really.

Im sure someone more techy will come up with a suggestion in a minute Smile
