The idea behind the Malal theme is that Malal is the pain in the arse little brother. He's the anti-chaos chaos god. Obviously he is weaker and has less followers than the other chaos gods, so it means he has to recruit harder. When a chaos player on the opposing team is killed, he isn't actually killed. He reaches the tunnel in the light and there is Malal waiting for him. Malal tells him he's been a fool and has been following the wrong god. Go back and mend your ways. In an hallelujah moment, he is returned to this world from the brink of death and see's the error of his ways and changes allegiance. Secret League's list changes them to spawn though I believe. |

no no, secret league recruits them, its on a d6 roll. on a 1 they die, 2-5 they are recruited as they are, on a 6 they become a spawn of malal rookie. |

Oh that sounds alright. I remember not liking what you decided. Originally I intended it to be a 1-3 die 4-6 recruited, however it isn't enough. So as long as the league is closed I think (for me) it's an auto recruit, I'm still not sure on Malal beasts, the drawings were a bit crap as I remember. If it was an open environment though, I think 1-3/4-6.
That being said, I played a Malal roster on here (open) and I play a Malal roster in my league, and they ain't recruiting much! |

Glancing through teams, I seem to notice that there are not many AG4 teams. Or teams with AG4 linemen:
* Sea Elves
* Wich Elves
* Pygmy
* Slaanesh
* + some positionals here and there
have you thought about the balance?

We already have 6 ag4 teams in the game, also you are missing ethereal, nippon, daemons of slannesh and Eshin. So that's plenty. |

great, will be interesting to see how the teams develop!
EDIT: wait, whhat I actually meant was:
Now: 6 teams of 24 = 25%
SL only: 9 teams of 73 ~ 12%
Total: ~15.5%
Will it be a bashy environment? we'll see. |

really pumped for this.
I think what Garion expressed a while ago was that the secret league teams will essentially become a resource in [L] that league admins can choose to allow/include in thier own leagues.
I'm also assuming and hoping that, similarly to now, [L] teams can also play friendly non-league matches in mm or in private matches. I suppose that would be essential for then joining leagues that have a TV minimum. |
