I think what Garion expressed a while ago was that the secret league teams will essentially become a resource in [L] that league admins can choose to allow/include in thier own leagues.
I'm also assuming and hoping that, similarly to now, [L] teams can also play friendly non-league matches in mm or in private matches. I suppose that would be essential for then joining leagues that have a TV minimum. |
Interesting question. I hope that teams will not be locked to a single "ruleset" |

as far as I know, League will eventually be pretty much completely customisable in every aspect. Obviously custom rules for the game will be limited to extra rules/alternate rules that are coded in to the client. But that aside I believe in the League division all decisions will ultimately be up to the admin of a league about what custom stuff they include. |

I will have 2 leagues, an Open league and a standard league with round robin and scheduled games. |

I heard that one of the changes will allow for a group ruleset, so large open leagues can run with consistent rules without having to set up ORRs. This change for me is nearly as big as the custom rosters themselves, and will make things like 7s and Grind (8s) playable on a much larger scale. Presumably this is how the Secret League will run open?
Also, it needs a new name. Secret League doesn't quite cut it anymore  |

Cool.
What I was wondering really is will we be able to accept any team? Or do we have to use/create a ruleset and only use teams that belong to it?
Wondering how that part of it works.
The new open league sounds like a huge step forward. |
