AND WE'RE OFF:
A few games played already!
In the Premiership, last season's champions FC Kaiserslaughtering were held 1-1 by the plucky little orcs of Bristol Reavers, who finished the game - much to their disgust - with an unused magic card (stupid usage rules!) and an unused Wizzard (bah, stupid being-out-positioned-ness!). This result will have pleased the ABKers! No perm damage done by either team (altho both apos made important RIP saves) so both teams trundle on into round 2 after a solid start.
In League 2 the season has kicked off with the Dorfs of Daggerinhand defeating DrPoods feared Damageminster goats! Rock on!
Conference North saw the elfs of ProRussia Dortmund take on the NorthernClans, coming out with a 2-1 victory and - somewhat more suprisingly - a 3-3 cas record.
In Conference South, early season favourites Fulham Fallen (fresh off an impressive Cup run to the final!) controlled the game (5-0 on cas) to take a 1-0 win over Elverton BBC.

Season 20 - Bath City Bladuds Overview
This is the Bladuds' 13th season in OBBA (the Bath City franchise has actually been running for 14 season with the short lived Bath City Bakery).
Last season BCB went in with two goals:
1) Stay in the Premiership
2) Finish above Bristol Reavers
They achieved this and finished 4th, their best ever finish.
This season the goals are:
1) Stay in the Premiership
2) Place best out of the Nurgle Premiership teams
Season breakdown:
BCB vs. Ratchester - these teams have played twice before with the Rats winning both - prediction 2-1 to the Rats, with a sneaky T16 TD.
BCB vs. Barmbek Bloodletic - these teams and coaches have never met before. However, BCB have played Dark Elves 8 times before with a record of 2/1/5, so the odds are against them especially with all that +ag - prediction 3-0 to the Delves.
BCB vs. Borussia - 5 meetings between these teams with Rottingbadback taking 3 of them. There is a definite pattern to these matches lose-win-lose-win-lose - therefore 2-1 win to BCB.
BCB vs. Beitar - one win each, 2 goals each, which team will bring it on the day. This game will be won or lost on casualties, but Bath will go in strong to avenge their cup loss - 1-0 Bath.
BCB vs. Accrington Stanley - Bath City Bladuds 100th game! And their first against this khemri side. A 1/1/2 against previous khemri sides doesn't bode well despite their slowness - 1-1 draw this time.
BCB vs. Glassjaw - The Strangers boast the best pesti in the league by way of Steven Davis, a goat who can singlehandly win games. 4 games between these teams and 4 wins for Bath. All this coupled with a possibility of tasty inducements will prove a tough match - 1-1 draw again.
BCB vs. The Duke - the big local derby, Bath City Bladuds vs. Bristol Reavers, both residents of Twerton Park in the past. 8 matches between these two, 2 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses for Bath. Having not won in the last 3 derbys, Bath will be looking to prove a point and will try to poach The Duke - prediction 2-1 Bath.
BCB vs. Hooftizan - Head Coach Roy has yet to figure out how to play against Chaos Dwarves, even with a win against Bullgrade (and two losses) under their belt. The dorfs with horses head stuck up their arses make the Bladuds especially nervous, the bloody things won't stay caught up in their tentacles - 3-1 loss to Bath.
BCB vs. Kaiserslaughtering - ah yes the Premiership champs and winner of all 4 meetings between these two sides, so no real hope - 2-1 to the Kaiser's men. |

Sounds good! 
Our goal is to stay up in the prem and hopefully build a bit bloat on the team, too many rookies at the moment. Although the return of an ogre is doubtful.
Also facing elfs for the first time in 26 matches should be fun.  |

pythrr, I have a question regarding this:
Cups Season 20

After the League season, there are two KO cup competitions. This year all teams will be entered in the OBBA Cup, and will play a prelim round where the winners go into the main OBBA Cup draw, while the losers go into the League Cup draw.
Does this mean MLS teams will play in the OBBA Cup? If not this season, is this a possiblity for the future? |

Nope. MLS teams won't cross the great ocean for games such as this - too risky with the Sea Serpents. Only the MLS Cup winner dares venture to the mysterious Isle of Jaapoon to play the OBBA Premiership Champions at the end of each season.
Also, time zone issues. |

Yeah we just downright smashed each other with nothing but a couple of mighty blows between us! 
My apo saved a superstar rip but uzkulak was not as fortunate with regen failing his greatest players and working on a few chumps. |

Damageminster Harriers 1-0 Stanforc Brigade - OBBA League 2
A good win for Damageminster against Stanforc Brigade. Graham Allner went on a bit of a tear and carved it up recording 4 CAS on the day. This was essential as our ball handling was appalling with only some luck stopping the Orcs scoring on our drive in the first half. We went in to half time with a slight man (goat?) advantage and we were able to get some more Orcs off the pitch and score late to take the W.
Finally got another Warrior block and the big fella took Tents to try and stop people running away. He only wants to play... honest!
Anyhoo, after the Orc doubleheader we now have Undead to look forward to. Should be fun. |
