hi there, i got a skill up on a stunty skink and not sure if i should give it a +ma or +AV or a skill

You should add a link to the player and/or team, since the (optimal) choice highly depends on what else you already got. It's also important to know if it's a 5+5.

And add a pie option!!!

MA - faster is super cool

but yes, is it a double? cos block or tackle are great in stunty!

Depends on the player.

MA2 to MA3, MA6 to MA7 and MA9 to MA10 are all well worth taking.

MA4 to MA5 ... not so much.

Same on the armour.

AV6 to AV7 is a big jump, but AV5 to AV6 or AV9 to AV10 is negligible.

rog: is because im scared of certain teams with lots of block/tackle and/or secret wepons, always do bad agasint those teams

MA7 means reaching the end zone is 2 turns. MA8 gives you more mobility for sure, but it doesn't add as much value as the jump from 6 to 7.

As for AV, AV6 to AV7 takes it from 7/12 to break armour, to 5/12 to break armour. Naturally if you are going against mighty blow, then the AV might help. Of course, if he is the only +AV player on the pitch, the M Blow players will probably target the other players first anyway.

It also leads to the question when talking about a team. If you were building an new Elf team and someone said you could use Wood Elf Linemen 7 3 4 7 of High Elf Linemen 6 3 4 8, which one would people take? it would probably come down to personal preference.

i would take the high elf lineman since i rather look for survival then speed and the fact that i have 5 players with ma 8 with 2 whiptails,2 raptors and another skink with +ma. also to note that 7 is the most common number to get from 2D and since most teams have a big guy and/or gnomes with mighty blow then the odds of breaking 7 is pretty high but with av8 then its a little easier to not get broken.

another rule of a thumb: if your whole team's strategy revolves in outmaneuvering the opponent, take +ma.

decided to take ma since no one wanted me to take av, funny how now he is a stunty wood elf war dancer if you look at his stats

Well yeah, a -ST wardancer. Leap is a bit of a waste an an ag4 dodge stunty. I spose it's nice to avoid diving tacklers sometimes though. +Ma was definitely the best choice, complements the AG4 very well.

I don't think personally I would ever take +AV on any player . . . +MV can be good, but it's entirely situational and quite often a skill is a better option(for a skink though, +MV everytime)

+av is in stunty seems.... pointless.

the player would just get gangfouled or chainsawed anyway
