We have 4 more teams through to the main event. Group IV is now completed, with Motskari's Cheaters taking the top qualifying spot, pushing the_Sage into 2nd place.

Stonetroll's FGobs in Group I, and Brainsaw's Gnomes in Group VI are both also assured of qualifying.

5 more finalists decided: Group V has Bazakastine's Skryre and Throweck's Squigs advancing. Group III goes to geggster and SzieberthAdam, both with Skinks. Group II will see mekitsh's Snotlings in the finals, while Group I's 2nd place is claimed by duplesgallegos' Cflings.

Only 2 spots left up for grabs...

Was it announced that there would be 2 qualified per group then? I was under the impression only the top team would advance.

Yeah, top of page 2, this thread. Usually the 2nd place teams go into a draw for the remaining finals spots. But with 8 qualifier groups, and 8 remaining spots, they would all get drawn...

I assume there will only be wildcards/some sort of draw if any of the 1st or 2nd place teams can't play in the finals, but dunno, really.

The finals are on!

The top two teams were accepted into the finals as per previous announcements. This gives us a 16 team final. The knockout bracket has 1 week deadlines going forward, which should give us a championship match towards the end of the month.
