1) Sometimes CPOMB doesn't require a solution to solve it; Instead it requires maturity to outgrow it.
2) We cannot solve our CPOMBs with the same thinking we used when we created them.
3) Intellectuals solve CPOMBs, geniuses prevent them.
4) In matters of truth and justice, there is no difference between large and small problems, for issues concerning the treatment of CPOMB are all the same.
5) To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in CPOMB.
6) If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are ready for greater challenges than CPOMB.
7) The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the CPOMB problems.
I dream of the realization of the unity of FUMBBL, whereby its netizens combine in their efforts to solve the problems of CPOMB. I dream of our vast treasuries, of our deep benches, of all our greatly bloated teams.
9) The problems with coaches having short attention spans is driven by entertainment, reset buttons on games, games having to do with getting somewhere and heads blowing up. Everything is 'cut to the chase(CPOMB), cut to the chase(CPOMB).'

Yes the combo of ClawPOMB is overpowered. But my belief is what really irks people is Pile On for lots of reasons (some of which are below):
1/ it is safer on the ground than standing to be hit
2/ the fluff behind it is lame
3/ Claw + MB is powerful enough
But as has already been mentioned, we can go round in circles about it, but until the official rules change FUMBBL will continue to use this rule set in its main divisions. |

What? Who?
Christer has the ability to make the next version of CRP called FUMBBL LRB.
All he has to do is do it himself or form a committee to make the LRB FUMBBL.
He then says Ranked or Box or a new div called LRB FUMBBL only plays LRB FUMBBL. League can play CRP or LRB FUMBBL.
FUMBBL does not need GW to make a new rule set. |

this has been done to death. For the nice recap.
Piling on an injury roll is the issue. This makes knockdowns more ko/cas inflicting than they have ever been. (even worse than the crazy early edition (can't remember if it was 2 or 3))

There is no "counter" skill, unlike a lot of other skills. People can yell fend all they want, juggernaut and grab both counter that. To which you just wasted a skill (assuming this was your only reason for taking it).
when stacked with claw the only counter is advanced positioning, which is somthing that noobs can never do. Making it very op against noobs, and just generally unbalancing at high level. |

What? Fend is a great counter to CPOMB.
Why?
Players with normal access to mutations DO NOT START with block.
Thus CPOMB is 3 skill sliots.
If they want to counter FEND they need to spend their 51+ SPP skill on grab or jugger.
So these guys do not have block.
Always living on the edge of the 1 in 9 fail roll on the block.
Also
If you are going the CPOMB path...and need jugger or Grab...you must ignore all double and +STAT rolls.
FEND is a great overall counter in the sense that if a majority of teams took fend as a priority it would mess the CPOMB teams up to no end on their team builds.
Since Brasky is the center of the CPOMB discussion you have noticed that on the WMD he did take grab, almost always at the 76+ SPP level. And on his KILLER CPOMB players they never had any skills but Normal skill ups. |

Lets walk through this once again.
What are the counters?
Claw: Play AV7 teams
MB: Play AV9 teams
PO: FEND
Of the three counters the only one that every team has access to is FEND.
And the teams that get the royal hose are the AV9 teams with no fend.
The only other counter you have is coaching skill.
Allowing a max of 16 CPOMB blitz moves OR through tactics tie down or eliminate the CPOMB threats. |

On the flip side...what are the counters to Blodge/SS?
Block: Wrestle breaks Block
Dodge: Tackle, cancels it out
SideStep: Grab
Thus Wrestle/Tackle/StripBall is the ultimate ball carrier hawk.
The point
It seems there is some serious Blodge/SS Ying to the CPOMB Yang going on when it comes to countering the be all end all skill up combos of Blood Bowl. |

Yes, there is a problem with clawbomb, there are other problems too. Flat out removing PO from the game is probably the easiest solution without needing to change anything else. |
