... I am out. No more FUMBBL, after that. I need to get other things done and all this is taking too much time. I know I can restrict myself but only if I do this radically. As such I just handed in my resignation as an admin as well. So thanks for all the fish ... err ... fun.
The one thing that I regret is that I didn't manage to get an issue of the GLN done, we are halfway there but that is. Just shows that no-one here really can replace Cusi.
Why am I telling you this? Simple - to get some fun games for those last 25 ... make them count =).

Why are FUMBBL players so compulsive that they feel the need to quit altogether. I know of several gamers who played alot and then just quit cold turkey.
Too bad people can't play once a week. It's bad when nice people leave forever. |

Mnemon, that's sad. 
I'm sad.
However, it would be good if - for example - you were able to just play one game a week in a tourney you started. I pretty much only play league/tourney now and I find it more fun, but less time-consuming than Open play.
Still... you do what you must do to ensure that your RL doesn't go down the toilet (someone should really tell that to the EverCrack players).
Of course, don't forget that 1001 games - while a cool number - is nowhere near as cool as 1,111 games, so when you hit 1001, try to think about how much more fun you'll have hitting that +110 game target.  |

And of course, hitting 1,111 games isn't as fun as hitting 1,234 games, so you can look forward to completing the next 123 games after that.

Mnemon, it sucks to see one of the more active players/admins go....but I think most of us addicts understand the need to "kick the habit" and move on with that so called "real life" thing. Cheers to you, and good luck in whatever it is you are going to do. |

Try not to play your last 25 games in two days... 
Play them slow... taste the flavour of each of them... maybe you'll find out how to slow things down and handle JavaBB that way for the years to come. |

Well, mnemon. Do it like i do it. Restrict your playing to some small tourneys only. One / two games a week is manageable. Especially since my little daughter is here i restricted my amount of playing a lot. |
