When I host I cannot see the field. It is just black.
And swiching fields does not help.

What can I do?

Download the client and apply the patch again, my uncle had this problem. Reinstalling the client seems to be the only way to remedy it.

I've got this same error. reinstall (twice) did not help. the field was fine as long as i used the large field. the only problem in that is that i can only see about 2/5 of the screen...

I wonder if u could come up with some other remedy than reinstall...

actually, i got the answer figured out myself (ahem!)

you only have to right click with the mouse to pop up a box. from the box you choose change field. then it get's righted.

Also, if you want the weather on the small field, you can use the [url="http://witwat.net/luke/javabbowl"]Metal Fields[/url].

It's all in the .sig...

I dont always see field when i first connect to a game. Its strange, but easily fixed by just clicking the change field and selecting same field again. BUT if im spectating, and field dosent load normally, i cant change it at any point of the game, because that can be done only on your own turn.. spectators dont have turns in other peoples games, eh Smile

My armpit had a similar problem. Reinstall again, this time dl'ind the client fresh from the web.
