Unfortunately your team was scheduled with a filler.
However, we are working on having coaches step in at the last minute and figuring out who gets tied to a rock in the ocean. This also takes time. A decision will be reached later tonight. |

I second that, if we have people ready to slot in, have them randomly assigned in place of one of the races that didn't apply. They can get in if they apply before the coach on the first list. |

probably due to the fact that the coach that we're waiting for in my div has only ever played 7 or 8 games on fumbbl. in my experience, not a great prospect as a [L] participant, altho I hope he proves me wrong. |

I can vouch for the Slann player, if that's who you're referring to. He's a friend of mine in RL and a vet of the Cyanide game and definitely interested in the league, he's even made a Ranked Slann team to practice with, I think he just didn't realize the league was going to get rolling so quickly. I sent him a message to get his team made ASAP, I know he was researching fluff. |

Season 1
Week 1 V Wormsburg Flying Flings
Scorers: Svavarson 2, Sigvaldason.
Passes: Svavarson
MVP: Olmodrson
The Draugr were never seriously threatened with the ball in opposition territory for the whole match. with the team starting on defence it did not take long to turnover the ball and begin an attack but the tenacious flings defended well preventing the quick score with an eventual T8 TD by Svavrsin. In the second half the offensive drive went very well with a fairly swift 4 turn score after a dead kick leaving time for another defensive TD against the now outnumbered flings in T8. A pickup and pass in a tacklezone by Svavarson to Sigvaldason completed an unlikely third TD after the flings thew one of their number onto the BC and knocked it lose the previous turn. Svavarson showed he welcomes the danger of a spiked ball with open arms when the safer play would have been to play out the 2-0 and not go for a ball in tacklezones. And despite 4 injuries to flings non of them were caused by the Draudr, they need to improve their hitting as once the team come up against more bashy teams such a low conversion rate will be punished. A good start to the season but tougher tests are ahead.
Svavarson levels up rolling a double 4 and takes dodge.
Good to get up and running. Was a fun match even if it was not particularly close due to multiple flying flings eating the dirt or flattening my players as they landed and everything in between. luxyluxo was nice to play against and chat with, looking forward to playing again. Bring on Round 2! |

Was planing to buy a Ghoul after the first game but won enough for two more Zombies. Can't decide whether to stick with the original plan or go straight to FOUL ALL MENZ and get Ghouls later. |
