I loooove board games, and I discovered Yomi on internet last year ! It's a duel, versus card game designed to be very balanced and competitive. It's by far my favourite game of all times ! :O I played hundreds hours on physical and internet version !
There are 20 unmodifiable decks for 20 characters. Each one has its own gameplay, and every match-up is in fact a very unique game.
Two characters are available for free in print & play version here : http://www.sirlingames.com/pages/yomi and you can play for free online (with tutorial) there : http://www.fantasystrike.com/game/index.php
There is also a Steam version and an iPad version of the game, all online versions allow crossplay between for example an iPad and a Steam player.
Yomi is based on fighting games such as Street Fighter or King of Fighter : you have to hit your opponent, but there is mind game about what your opponent is doing to do !
The game I'd like to tell you about is Codex. It isn't released for the moment, but there is a kickstarter currently working. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sirlin/codex-2
It's a deckbuilding, non collectible card game. It's based on RTS games such as Starcraft, Age of Empires and Advance Wars.
If you want to try the game, you can do it for free ! Just download the print&play version http://www.sirlingames.com/products/codex-starter-set-print-and-play, and print them !
You can play only on paper but the best thing is to put your printed card in a sleeve with at verso the back of a real card.
I hope I've shared with you something you'll love !
