Well what I mean is if you take the +MA you're then into a TV band where having another mb/tackle (and 3 tackle overall) will most likely have a bigger impact than having 1x blodge (albeit st4 blodge) in most games.

It's fair to presume that at 1400+ most teams will have enough tackle or frenzy to deal with the dodge, or enough removal skills to allow them to gang up on a solo dodger... Unless they're elves at which point you want the tackle/mb anyway.

Juggernaut. Smushes wrestle and fend, and great synergy with frenzy which you could take next.

@Chainsaw, not giving him Frenzy. Maybe if I develop another one, but if this guy normals at Legend I'll give him Fend or Pro or something.

@Painstate. I'll have to build another Grottybrook. Won't be easy. But if they go to the new rules and PO sucks, I'll be glad I did what I did.

What in da hell? So, you deny yourself PO/MB because in the next 12 months PO might be nerfed?

Do you think he will still be on your roster in 12 months?

1) I don't know if it'll be 12 months or 12 weeks.

2) I don't want to put this guy on the ground.

3) I need the Tackle, badly. I only have 2, and both are Guards.

4) I'll probably play 40 games with this team in 12 months. Grottybrook lasted 153 games, I got a few players who are a lot older than 40 games. I've got an Apoth with basically 3 guys' names on it, except late in games. Even if it is 12 months, the odds that this guy will still be there are seriously nonzero.

Let me clarify my POV.

You always strive to maximize your odds on every roster.

A all human Lineman lineup, you have to strive to duplicate a normal line up with blitzers, which by choice you have discarded.

Thus your lineman when they roll doubles only have two paths. Guard or MightyBlow.

IF

You choose MB then you MUST take PO.

What? Well then never take MB as your first double. Then you never have to worry about putting any player on the ground by taking Pile On.

Well Juggs is still a great counter to fend/wrestle/stand firm. It is an underrated skill, especially for hitters, but then again tackle is very useful for hitters too.
