Call me unfriendly, but is it possible to remove chat in game, so I no longer see messages, either permanently, or on demand i.e. 'right click - block' etc?

If not, it would be a nice addition, because I try to avoid unlucky moaning people when I can. For me, the moaning takes away some fun from the game, and sadly the moaning is all too common.

Thanks,

All the best

it would be funny if there was a button that said mute opponent, click and then your opponent gets a message - you have been muted, however the client isnt currently being worked on.

In the options menu you can open a 'chat commands' window, which can apparently be used to cover the chat. Haven't really used it myself, so I don't know if it also blocks the rr info.

What JellyBelly means is that if you open that pop-up window that lists the chat commands (or the about window), you can drag it over the chatbox - it will cover the chatbox but not extend outside the client window. You can then still play the game, but will be unable to see anything in the chatbox or type anything into yourself until you drag the window back off of the chatbox and close it.

This.
Because it sounds like the best option for the experience you are looking for in gaming.
Enjoy! Very Happy

Thanks for the explanation ArrestedDevelopment, and the original suggestion Jellybean. I didn't read your comment properly the first time. Problem solved!

I've played plenty of games against non human opponents, but not many as good as Blood Bowl. I look forward to the future Blood bowl artificial intelligence. That would raise the level of play. Similar to chess.

I'd not recommend concealing the chat since your opponent may occasionally say something important.
