So I had a manic vision last night while listening to some tunes and smoking a bowl.

I need to make a highlight reel of one of my teams set to high powered music.

So I'm making a list of all the things I think I need to do this.

Screen capture software that can store captures as editable video files

Video Editing Software

MP3 of the song I want to set it to

Time to watch games and find highlights.

Your answers to the first two will set this in motion. You are warned.

I had the same vision. Started putting together a list of great Ranked Amateurs games for a highlight reel. Figured I'd use the Blue Öyster Cult's "Beat 'Em Up" for that one.

I've heard good things about CamStudio, the most popular I believe. A lightweight like FFsplit might be all you need. Both are free like in "free beer." If you want free like "free speech," there is Kazam.

Camtasia is a good screen video tool.

Also, I use premiere to edit videos. If you don't want to pay for it I'd be happy to help you out. Just PM me if you can't find cheap/free editing tools that work for you.

I've been looking for more ways to contribute here so if someone just sent me a song on youtube as well as a description of the highlights they wanted, what turns they were on and a link to those games I'd be happy to make it. Could even use a team logo as an intro and add text. Wouldn't take long for me at all so long as I'm not fetching more than a few games.

Let me know if anyone is interested. If not it shouldn't be too hard with the free tools that are out there.
