this is my player.
He skilled at 76. And he rolled a normal skill.
My dilemma is between Leap or side step.
Leap could allow him to jump in any cages with 2+. But with so many HG i have others ways to blitz the opposing ballcarrier.
Sidestep with Blodge,ST5 and guard could be very helpful in the middle of the rumble 
Any suggestion? |

Never seen this race. Are they balanced, they look very good?
I would regardless take leap, since its good fun with that player! |

Or actually, diving tackle.
Take tentacles if you are allowed.
Both help a wild animal much more than leap and sidestep. |

Also I'd take sidestep. Leap + Loner seems like a recipe for hard times. |

Sidestep sounds great. As a non-reroll skill I would be wary of ever using leap but it would make him a major threat! |

Leap seems like a risk with Loner, even at 2+ and even considered the exceptional cage breaking potential. You have two 2+ rolls that may fail and leave you without a blitz.
Sidestep is less spectacular, but a blodgestep big guy is a nightmare for the opponent if he is in the right position. |

yes. sidestep....even with leap i need 2 rolls of 2+ to blitz the cage....too risk to lose the blitz
