Tentacles is actually a great call for ST 4+ mutating killers, especially with SF. I know there are (very successful) teams that used it, but whoever felt like CWs and NWs needed PO probably didn't bother. Now, if you want to maximize hits with those non-blitzing killers, Tents is the way to go, isn't it? (If you have a remaining skill slot, that is.)

Block, Mighty Blow, Claw, Tackle, Stand Firm, Tentacles (although I'd always want Guard as well, so maybe skip either Tackle or Stand Firm for that)

Non PO killers will also revert to LRB4 form....Carry some DP. DP, even with just +1, is now once again the viable kill shot skill. yeah, you can get ejected BUT unlike C/MB you can auto break AV and get the +1 on injury roll bringing the odds back up to 9+ on injury check is a CAS.

The sun has risen over Khemri once again. A new golden age of DP has been reborn.

The thing with C/MB is you have to actually knock your foe down, then roll a AV check and then roll the 9+.

DP it is already assumed that the player is on the ground and passed his AV check. You line up a good DP shot you break AV on a 2+ 3+ or 4+.....golden shot for the CAS. IN BB2016..the best odds.

That's assuming a khemri coach will skill up the skellies when he has the option of giving all the mvps to the TGs

Since pile on has been changed to Juggernaut, wrestle players are a new target on the blitz.

So if the old killers also have tackle, is great.

Block (though not usually needed) MB, tackle, frenzy, stand firm or SS, guard. Juggs last for those who come with block.

Obviously variations for those with M access like the usual claw, sometimes horns etc.

yea. any hitty players are still best with first skills as block + MB + claw if available
without piling on, guard is the best next skill

which kind of means there's less separation between your general hitty players and a blitzer - in terms of cas rate per hit, and in terms of how you'll actually build

i mean now, there's less reason to build a specific dedicated blitzer. just make all mens block,MB,(claw),guard, and blitz with whoever is best positioned

however... juggs makes for a dedicated blitzer but only after frenzy. which does go well with Pro also. and tackle

Mighty Blow, Claw, Frenzy, Tackle improves at killing by making sure one pows, and to be hit hard. Skills as Pro, Dauntless, Horns can boost strength, thus limiting the needs for assists. Skills like DivingTackle, Shadowing, Tentacles can help at hitting without the blitz. Once you go down that route then Stand firm and Side step can also help you.

In the flip side, is fend now even more pointless?

I think jump up is still viable. It has synergy with standfirm, but would be a rare combo if it required a double. I'd try it out.

I would consider jump up as almost useless but fend is still the same for me. It counters less but the ability to set up surfs got more important as the player removal through cas became harder.

ClawMB will be the regular killstack in the teams that can have it because it's the killingest 2-skill combo remaining.

Aside from that, we'll see more Tackle and less dedicated killers with specialist skills (Juggs, Frenzy). Instead, positioning skills will see play more often: Guard, SF, Grab, Tents.

Human blitzer hitter progression should go along these lines:
MB, Tackle, Frenzy, Juggernaut

While an all-rounder blitzer could look like:
Guard, MB, SF, Tackle

I would probably go with Mb/Claw/Frenzy/Tackle. Probably Block is needed if it is a mutation team. Probably Horns are given if it is a mutation team as a default. (Or Block is given and Horns as 5th skill.) So i could debate about the 6th, legend skill, but chances are that players
- never get there
- roll some stat that one cant resist

And does the relative rise in popularity of Juggernaut mean Wrestle will become less useful?

And increasing rate of tackle affecting usefulness of dodge (poor elfs)
