I've noticed that one can select blitz for a wild animal and just move them in for a touchdown...hitting nobody. Is this a legitimate, legal tactic?
I know you sacrifice your blitz, but it seems to me to be just a way around the 50 percent failure rate for choosing to just move the wild animal.

Blitzing wild animal, good strategy or cheesy exploit?

So performing an action with a player should somehow be considered wrong?

I know the program allows it. Seems cheesy to me. The whole point of the wild animal being able to perform blocks and blitzes with a higher success rate indicates that the wild animals WANTS to hit something. Not just move.

Clearly the animal spotted someone particularly irritating in the crowd behind the endzone.

I generally tend to dislike players who use their blitz action

Dang, don't you hate it when somebody finds a way to score a touchdown?!

Well, I understand the point, but rulez is rulez, and sacrificing a Blitz action is a pretty big deal...

Hey, seems like this turned out to the regular pie tossing contest.

This happen quite a lot here, someone asks a question that is an issue for them. The idea is that you in this thread further discuss this topic, how stupid or brilliant it may be. Yes, of course you are to voice your opinions, even if they are bad, but dont just make stupid posts such as the last ones, sure, a bit fun, but stick to the topic or dont post at all.

A lot of good sound discussions has been killed by this behaviour.

And, keeping in that spirit i better post something about the thread now Wink

gkornecki pointed out a relevant issue, while this is the way it is played it sure does go against the spirit of the rule. After all, a pass block action that doesnt affect the pass is illegal etc.
