My elf thrower with safe throw picked up the ball [3] then threw a long pass to the catchers. RNG rolled a [6] for the intercept and ended my turn. No safe throw roll or option.
Game:
Occurs on Top of turn 1 of the second half.

Any reason Safe Throw wasn't rolled? If it's not working then it's a waste of a skill and it'd be nice to know. Any ideas? |

Very Long Legs prevents Safe Throw, I'm afraid. What a game though! |

Thank you, much appreciated -- I didn't know that, but thank you - good to remember next time -- not that I realised when it occurred, nor did it affect the outcome. Many thanks. |

Well i had no idea VLL did that either. I have always wondered though why FUMBBL doesn't have skill descriptions in it. I guess it's something to do with copyrights. I have no idea.
Atleast this thread taught me a new skill interaction. I wonder what other obscure skill interactions there are most people don't know. |

I agree that Skill descriptions would be a great addition to the client. Like maybe if you hover over a skill in the players portrait field? |

Playing on FUMBBL requires that the coach has an official copy of Blood Bowl, so you should have the rules (and skill descriptions) handy, no?
If not, from the handy Help section, under FAQ there's this bit:
Q: Where can I download the rules for the game?
A: The current ruleset is the Blood Bowl Competition Rules Pack (CRP). You can find it via the NAF site, see the Blood Bowl websites section.
I always recommend googling it/downloading the .pdf file (free!) and reading the rule-book. |

CRP is not the current ruleset, it's the old one. |

Yeah, the actual current properly up to date rules aren not as easily obtained. Since they're currently spread out around like 3 or 4 different books you'd have to pay for xD Like the main book, deathzone etc. I have the LRB6 still which is alright for most situations. |

*raised.eyebrow* Is it that juggs cancels wrestle, or that juggs has the option of turning a 'both-down' result into a push, on which wrestle has no effect? |

If anything HAD to cancel wrestle, I'd think it'd be Stand Firm. (The only take-down I could see strong arm helping with might be a flying arm bar. And if blood bowl players are using flying arm bars, I really-really want to use a more graphic oriented client that'd depict that in detail. ) |

reading the manual is time consuming and boring. When has reading ever helped with anything? |

On a blitz you can also over-ride wrestle on a both down result (they can't use it) |
