Either (2) describes what happened or not. If this is what happened, no word count invalidates the complaint. If it is not what happened, the author of the OP should be told. |

I think the lesson here is that if you want to insult the dice or another player the correct pejorative to use is "lizardman coach" because I think we can all agree that discriminating against lizardmen players and coaches is not only acceptable, but should be encouraged |

I think calling someone an elf coach or a coach of any chaos worshiping team is almost as offensive as calling someone a lizardman coach. Let's put it this way, have you ever not wanted to kill a war dancer? |

I'm trying to think what kind of a coach I would least like to be called. If someone called me gay, I would, well, think that other player was all sorts of lame. (And that they should knock it the heck off.)
But someone calling me a Dwarf Coach? Low blow. I don't even want dwarf brains. |

I find the title of this thread insulting. I demand it is renamed, and i am also expecting the apology, as this title pops up a big number of times on my screen, and i do not want to see it. And if the apology comes in this thread, then i want to receive an apology for that comment as well.
If it was not utterly obvious, i am joking. On the other hand, there is some truth in a joke. I do have issue with topic names like this. (If for example OP put a question mark after the title, i had no issue with it, but stating as is - no cool. I do not think the statement would pass a judge's court.) |

I don't think it's cool to use homophobic words like, "gay". I also don't think it's cool to fly into a rage about it. It's a very minor thing. Realise that the vast majority of people these days are not homophobic and homophobia is not acceptable, so when something like this occurs, keep the outrage and offense in proportion to the crime.
In this case either ignoring it, or a simple, "I am gay and I'd appreciate if you didn't use that word in a derogatory fashion" seems more appropriate that a sweary outraged response and a huge forum thread. |

Have you been reading the BBC as well? 
I agree with most of your post. But not "very minor thing" or "vast majority".
For the OP, I don't think that ignoring it would be very appropriate. |
