Blocked a player and pushed him back in a square where the ball was, made a cas with a block BUT the ball never moved. Aint it supposed to be that player is pushed back (thus scatter in this situation) and then armor+injury rolls.... |

As I understood it... if you knock someone down in the square, ie push them into the ball, they pick it up, if still on their feet, or it automatically scatters if they are knocked down with the block.
However, the client now seems to be scattering it automatically, regardless of whether they are still standing or not.
Is this right guys? |

I understand it to be as follows:
If the ball enters a square with a player in it, then he must attempt to catch it/pick it up.
However, if a player is pushed into a square as a result of a block, then the ball scatters, the player cannot attempt to grab it. |

I've seen this too.
If the player is Blocked, pushed back into the ball square, and removed from the field due to KO, BH, SI, or Kill, by the Block, he is not registered as pushed into that square, and the ball doesn't scatter. The injury resolution happens before the scatter chance. |

This is just like a problem I had last night but mine got even weirder.
My passer went GFI onto the ball.
He fell, and was SI.
I used my Apothecary successfully.
He reappeared underneath the ball and prone.
On my next turn I tried to move him and could not select him.
We reloaded the game from the save.
I could now stand and move my thrower, but the ball was gone!
It was turn 8 so we reasoned the crowd had the ball and wanted the game over so they wouldn't give the ball back. |
