as you have based them around dark eldar models, i think that the blitzers should use the incubi models as they look slighty heavier armoured. it would make it easier to tell the difference. |

ok just bought some incubi on ebay at a snip! (4 cost me £5.20 inc postage! would cost me £12 in GW!!!)
What do people suggest i do with the incubi with regard to conversions? Im not so keen on the piping on the incubi but i was thinking about smoothing them out with milliput into the armour. should i do anything to their heads?
***Yeah i had intended them to look nasty (as all dark elves should be!) with the colour scheme and the the witch elf luring some fool towards her so she can torture him! The colours look a lot better in real life as im not very good with my digicam yet!*** |

Try taking some pictures with the light behind the camera. Should help define the features in the piccies.
All said and done...even without the correct lighting....their a damn site better than anything I could do!! Good work.
I guess I'm just too ham-fisted and impatient!! |

On that note;
Try to use artificial light, such as the common flouro behind you as natural sunlight (is there any other kind?) can obscure the colours. |

Have you never heard of fake sunlight? Where do you think fake tans come from?
Of course, as everyone knows, fake sunlight is rubbish for minis! |

This thread is very informative on the subject of miniature photography, and leads to other resources on the topic too:

Nice job, btw! I think the problem with the Blitzers is they have rather undynamic poses - they look like GW linemen, in fact. Maybe they need to look like they are running, that would help. |

Colorsheme is good... base are really good... simple and efficient...
highlight are corrects but you need to work on face, expecialy on eyes...
Look at this site for good painting tutorial (you need it about face and eyes) www.jenova.dk
And on the forum you can see really great figs but none about bloodbowl... |

You git! My girlfriend applied for that job!
I don't think she was too torn up about not getting it, truth be told...
Nice blitzer, btw, and much better photograph too. Those former blitzers will perform well on the LoS, methinks... |
