I didn’t expect elves to take such a hit when matched only against the competitive range. Only Dark elves remain in the solid range. Is the rule set really that bad for the agile rosters?

Passing got worse, AG is capped at 1+ and doesn't affect the throwing, MA is capped at 9, no MVP nomination (that means that many SPPs end wasted on Linemen when you really want to pimp the positionals), Leap has been nerfed, S skills require to be bought with lots of SPPs (or you can take random S skills, but you risk to get a bad one), random skills on Linemen are not that good because they are expensive and hard to cycle.
Multiple rr, Break Tackle and Sneaky Git Dirty Player are good for Elves, but on the other hand multiple rr improved the running game typically made by the bash and hybrid teams.
So, considering all these factors yes, Elves got nerfed by BB2020.
Last but not least, the Casualty table has 62.5 % chance of SI or Death, making Apo less good. Elves tend to suffer injuries and you really want to keep in game an expensive positional. With BB2020 that's harder.

Full Elf team is on shared first place on BBT7.

Some would argue that they arent that bad or too bad at low TV ?

Elves are not too bad, but for sure worse than in CRP.
I don't talk about Trophy Elves, I just talk about Elves in a perpetual environment.

I think that actually shows how exceptional his achievement is
Almost no one else has been able to play elves to that high of a level...

Malmir has 6! bonus points, his only elf run was 11.5 with DE
vicius got 13.0 with EU
dolce got 12.0 with DE
Rawlf tied for the DE lead with Elyod, both on 12.5 (+ 1 for bonus)
lautrehamon got 12.5 with EU
spelledaren got 11.0 with EU

I don't think anyone else got more than 10 for an elf team


Elyod's result was (excluding bonus points):
High Elves 15.0
Pro Elves 14.5
Dark Elves 12.5
Wood Elves 9.0


shook_one got 9.0 with woodies, not sure why he's not tying the bonus point there

The bonus is added to the total score, not the race score.

Surprisingly enough Amazons went down a tier for BBT8. Aren't they supposed to be the queens of low TV games ?

They are. They got cheaper in order to encourage more people to use them. Similarly, Lizardmen were fine but were increased in cost to limit their numbers. Both in order to encourage diversity and shift the meta a little bit.

On top of all that, many elf positionals got more expensive (wardancer, throwers, blitzers) or lost skills (wood elf catcher).

Indeed, elves got seriously screwed. Not sure why that was necessary...

Are there still amazon teams with 4 ”old roster” blitzers, and 2 of the ”new roster” jaguars i C? Those team are really OP, if they are in this rankings it might have some effect i guess?
