So that'd be Undead, Necro, Vamps, Tomb Kings |

Not super fond of the Captain's model. The Vargheist and Luthor's are drop-dead (he) gorgeous, though!
Karina has a very sweet special rule. Seems like being too slow is a problem of the past for the new vamps ! |

If at least they no longer have Animal savagery it's good! Everything that boost them will pleased me |

Ha! Unless the new Bloodlust is equally unplayable... If they are all Bloodlust 3+ that would be interesting. 2+ would make them good again.
Annoying we have to buy the Spike to get the rules though. |

New Bloodlust at 2+ might be too strong with Pro now at 3+. I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll resolve it! |

IIRC the rules are in the box with the miniatures (Roster, new skills/traits). It was like that for new Norse and Amazons. |

Thralls same as currently |
Well done to me for getting it pretty close
Next predictions:
Thralls are confirmed at 40k, guessing they'll have G + AS access
Blitzers 120k GS + A
Runners 110k GA + S
Throwers 110k GP + SA
Varg 160k S + GA |

Okay, as far as I can see for the new Bloodlust:
-The non-biting vamp does not go into reserves but is bonehead instead (better than before)
-You can choose not to bite, even with a thrall an hand. Better for thrall management in risk-free positions (better than before)
-You must bite someone before the hand-off, not after as it used to be (worse than before)
-One third of your vamps is twice as likely to fail bloodlust, and they will compete for the blitz with the Vargheist (worse than before)
By the way the Vargheist seems a solid big guy to me. AV 10+,regeneration,on a team that can take an apo, and a negatrait that guarantees its action. |

Good list. to add:
- Failing BL and going bonehead additionally causes a turnover (bad)
- You can now have 7x Bloodlust players on the team (more than before)
- You can now change from Block etc action to Move action if you want to run over and bite someone instead of going bonehead (better than before)
Actually on this last point, what are the scenarios you'd want to change into a Move action?
Attempting to Block, fail BL, decide to Move and bite instead (which may mean dodging)
Attempting to Gaze, fail BL, decide to bite instead
Attempting to Blitz/Pass/Handover, fail BL decide to bite instead. This isn't much of a change of action, more of a change of destination |

Not convince about that Big Guy myself. If it doesn't have a thrall available at both stages of it's Frenzy then it's going to be a Turnover machine |

Ohhh it's per Action. Hmm
Orrrrr
Is it?
"Whenever a player with this Trait activates, after declaring their action, they must roll ..."
Perhaps it's:
- Activate the player
- declare Action
- roll Bloodlust
- do the Block Action
- do the followup Block Action
the 'whenever' part is triggered by the Activation, isn't it? not the Action.
It only mentions Action to clarify that you need to declare what you're doing before you take the roll |

You only roll once per activation but with frenzy you take the risk to move away from your thralls because of the forced follow-up.
In other words we have a new form of a frenzy trap here. |
