Can Safe Pair of Hands be used to put the ball out of the pitch when falling down adjacent to a boundary line, or is it mandatory to put it on a pitch square? |

I would say there are no 'squares' off the pitch, so it has to go on a pitch square. |

I would say you should be able to toss it to the crowd if you want.
It makes sense in some situations & a player on the field would know that as well. |

Its almost certainly against the rules as written, but I would table rule that allowed to make the skill a bit more flexible and fun for the whole 1 in a 1000 times that interaction is relevant. |
