ENSURE YOU WAIT UNTIL OCT 1 IN FUMBBL TIME ZONE TO PLAY EMU GAMES!!!! I will be checking the results pages to ensure they ended on October 1st, 2004. The season officially kicks off tomorrow night with the Season 3 award presentation and the preseason rundown, but you can get a jump on me by starting at 12:01am Oct 1st.
Rules Below, there have been changes.
WELCOME TO EMU HEADQUARTERS
>EMU is open to all non-elf teams in RANKED and DIVX.
All elf teams are fair prey - Wood Elfs, High Elfs, Dark Elfs, and the new "Elves"
Points will be awarded for Casualties Inflicted (2pt for bh, 4pts for SI, 6pts for RIP, 12pts for RIP that stays dead - no apoth or failed apoth ), Wins (5pts), and Slam Dunks (7 or more cas in one game 10pts + the usual cas points)
Teams will lose 5pts for a loss, and lose 3pts for games in which they fail to score a casualty. In addition, you will lose points for casualties scored against you (1pt BH, 2pt SI, 3pt RIP) Getting killed by an elf is kinda embarassing! But needless to say we here at EMU do not value your players lives as highly as we value Elf skulls.
Oh btw, If an elf team spanks an EMU team and gives them a negative score for the game, the Elf team can post that result in the thread and i will count it in the rankings! This ensures that not just successful EMU games will be posted in this thread.
Standings will be kept and posted weekly.
Finally, no personal attacks are to be levelled between coaches in the thread, chat room and PMs (Remember EMU critics - this is a two way street). So if you do have something to say, keep in character and be reasonably respectful, or I will deal out "da discipline!"

Season 1 Winner: Barash - Stand Firm
Season 2 Winner: Zsarts - Rats on Parade
Season 3 Winner: Dreadclaw - Beleagured Vermin
Note: Games against teams from the the so called "EMU Hunters" or "Elven Defence League" are worth an extra 25% EMU points. Make sure you identify in your report that the game was vs. an EMU Hunter team.

A few notes...
1) Irc is #EMU on irc.fumbbl.com
No bot yet, hadn't really thought of this as I had a dedicated channel on afternet. If someone knows how to get one of them nuffle bots let me know.
2) I have appointed the following people as EMU Goblinz (group admins)...

If you need something feel free to bother them. They can let your team into the group and should be able to help if you require rules clarification.

Unapothed RIP = +12pts

Slam Dunk (7 or more cas) = +10pts
Lost game = -5pts
Opponent badly hurts a player = -1pts
Opponent seriously injures a player = -2pts
Opponent KILLS a player = -3pts
You fail to get a casualty = -3pts
Results (Note: results for the elves wont be listed here we'll hide them away somewhere cold and snotty)
Also note that I will be rounding non whole number scores down at the moment. If at the end of the season certain coaches are close together I will recount based on the actual scores. I.e. a score of 12.75 becomes 12
