We tried it a few times in the past (twice in fact we had a Cup pitting our best against the best from the other super leagues around the world, which you can see the links to on the REules and Stats Group Page) but it's far too much effort in the end.
Other countries just aren't as reliable as us Aussies and it's too much work to try to whip them into shape!  |

DASTARDLY DORFS RETIRE GRACELESSLY :
Game 2 Season 7 - as expected the number of niggling injuries prevented a comeback from this mightiest of teams, with the game held up for 4 turns when the faithful fans realised just how bad the injury toll was.
Within minutes of the opening drive, the lads walked off the pitch in disgust, preferring to retire after seeing Dastardly fouled and Seriously Injured by disrespectful Undead scum when they did not have enough Dorfs to assist him.
Slimey of course took the walk-off badly, quitting the team in disgust ... but he was always a biy icky. The other players kicked the living crap outta him in the locker room later, tattooing several rude words on his forhead, including "We left you first!"
Coach Elan said few words, other than "Who's got the tickets to Tahiti" and, when questioned by Commissioner Twahn about his status as a Southern Waste League Coach, he stated only "I'll be back!"
Sad news, sportsfans, sad indeed. So the warning for all you home owners and shop keepers - beware - the Dorf in the garden is not cute and is now unemployed ... and wearing a ski-mask! |

The database keys in on the player name/team name combination so it shouldn't be a problem.
Hmm...actually just found it was only updating existing entries by name. Should be fixed now. Thanks Drok.

With the retirement of the <b>Dastardly Dorfs</b>, Zippy_Wonderdog's <b>Black Water Blitzers</b> have been promoted from the Swamp to the North Conference.
At coach the_savsta's request, <b>Dead Ugly</b> has been demoted to the QPool...
This means two spots opened up in the Swamp, with coach's <b>nbrown</b> and <b>MattDFan</b> promoted to the Swamp.

Just thought id note that round 2 of premier saw alot of hearts broken, with 3 games played and sandunes dwarves yet to match up vs the woodies o_O
Our injury toll this week so far is

After sandunes disgusting dwarves take on the woodies im sure we will be able to add to this list. Amusingly the sides which have survived the matchups seem to be facing up. Khemri vs uninjured lizards, dwarf on dwarf, with the crippled teams facing up well below their strengths. |

Please do not apply with any team that has 4 or more of that race in the list above.

Have to remember that not everyone is serious about their teams in qpool either, just something different to try while their main team runs in div. So not a good reflection looking there. |

Yep, Snorri nailed it. There have always been a lot of rat teams in qpool the last few seasons as they've always been available, but very few graduate to the big leagues. |
