I've just noticed lately that there are a LOT of ST5 Dark Elves out there, mainly Blitzers. I have one and I can think of 3 others just off the top of my head. Now i've been on here for a long time and I've never seen more 2X+ST advances then with Dark Elves. I've seen the odd ST5 Orc thrower or Human Blitzer, not to mention ungodly strong Mummies and Warriors...
I did this post to make a list of all the Super Darkies out there, so if you have a ST5 Dark Elf (Blitzer or otherwise) post the link here....
((This is purely for my own curiosity. Also, they should be ALIVE, from Ranked and on active teams.)) |

If you're bragging about your own, then you should post a link to him...
/me goes off to dream of having a double +str player...
Why not also include double +agi players? It's too easy to have double +ma players, but agi is also rare in coming... |

I've got a brace of them on my Dark Elf team, a Blitzer and a Witch Elf .
Dark elves must have the gene or something I guess...although other than +ST, I've rolled almost no doubles with that team... |

Getting 2x +AG is much more likely to happen than 2x +ST. |

well, no strength increase is on a 6,6 or 1/36, agility is on 5,6 and 6,5 beeing 2/36 so twice as often...
but to do the maths to get the chance of two strenght increases in 7 skills without loosing strenght the same time to ageing... |

Rolling +AG is twice as likely as rolling +ST. Rolling 2 * +AG is four times as likely as twice +ST, over two skills rolls. Since you get seven rolls, not two, I'd guess (I don't feel like calculating it right now but it's fairly easy) that 2 * +AG is about three times as likely as 2 * +ST. |

SORT OF off topic but the new vauilt rules propose to do away with ALL STAT increases over one. So say goodbye to these type of players forever.
If you are like me and think this is bad for the game, please post in the TBB vault forums or contact Galak and other BBRC member directly to voice your displeasure. |

OK, ok...I'm not a math wiz. You DO see 2x+AG about twice as much so I guess the formula works. I have one too: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1307863 on the same team no less. Of course ageing and all that.... But THIS guy is what we all aspire to: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=805751 . Multi-block is a strange pick, but still......
She's nice, Sinner. No ageing after 76 is a bonus. But it's no match for a "big guy" on a Dark Elf team.
I agree totally, Mully. I think the Vault will ruin the game. I wouldn't be against a new skill or two and/or the fixing of skills like Dirty Player and Diving Catch (which as it is now is worthless!) but those guys are going radical. Not good. |
