I just need to whine


I hate AGEING!!!!!

My favorite orc aged at 31.

I usually retire asap on niggles. I am very sad and pondering keeping him around a while.

I was thinking maybe

you could declare one player a team captain.

That is the only team captain you can have on your team until he is retired, or dies. That player with the Captain tag is immune to ageing rolls until 76ssp when they become super star players.

At time of retirement or death you can name a new captain.

I have a team with lot of players at 4-5 SPPS. Should I transfer to div X?

I had a wonderful injury free Human Team at TR 230

Then 2 blitzers, 1 lineman, 1 thrower and the Ogre all niggled at 31 spps. All retired.
Last 10 games saw my Humans fighting for survival.

I hate ageing too.

Only cool thing is that you will REALLY love and be proud of your flawless 180spps blitzer (assuming you will ever have one).

That and injuries is the only reason I can stand to play teams of more than a few games. Suddenly it becomes "superman" against "superrat" instead of blood bowl players. The basic games is what is fun for me, and also what seems most balanced.
I do hope that the BB version currently worked on, will take effect. This would effectively put a cap on TR, and has a good alternative to ageing... Injuries!

If you can't play with the grunts of the team, but need a top tooled star player, what kind of coach are you anyway.

I agree ageing is necessary for game balance but for once I had a favorite and needed to whine. anyone could have aged but him.

Ageing should be better if it started from 51 for example imo. At least you'd have a shot at building something then. I had a beastman with ag5 niggle on his ageing at 31, and on my new Khemri team 2 mummy's aged -ma on their first skill and now they can't get up anymore half the time if they go down. very annoying Smile

aging sucks, I'll actually be happy when the vault becomes official and aging is removed. I dont know all the vault rules, but if aging is gone it cant be bad Smile also the TRcap will suit Undead IMO. Wink

It's ironic that people would rather complain about aging in R than play in the division which is primarily distinguishable by its lack of aging.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink, I guess.
