I just thought to open a topic where people can put in their suggestions for configuration of new teams of all the different races.
Here is how I like to start a new dwarf team:
1 Ogre 120,000
2 Blitzers 160,000
2 Troll Slayers 180,000
2 Runners 160,000
4 Longbeards 280,000
1 Reroll 40,000
6 Fan Factor 60,000
Total 1,000,000 |

I personally liked this lineup:
2 Runners 160k
2 Blitzers 160k
6 Longbeards 420k
1 Trollslayer 90k
2 RRs
9 FF
The idea? You need as many AG 3 players as you can get. I thought dwarves were supposed to be tough, so you could afford to add a RR (relatively cheap at 80k) soon, although my first dwarven team suffered 3 SIs in its first 3 games... before buying that apoth... |

Here's my favorite for Undead:
2 Mummies 200k
2 Wights 180k
2 Ghouls 140k
3 Skeletons 90k
3 Zombies 90k
9 FF 90k
3 RR 210k
Although there are only 2 Ghouls and wights, this team is better in the long run because of maxed out FF and 3 RR. Some people say you don't need a high FF with undead because your people don't die (they rather decompose). But mummies are expensive, and if want to play your team more like a strong allround team, you need the money to buy as many rerolls as possible. |

Starting HE team
11 Lineelfs -770,000
2 Rerolls -100,000
8 FanFactor-80,000
Apothocary-50,000
Total-1,000,000
Makes for a balanced team, with your lineelfs spreading the SPPs around.
Try taking dodge first and then block. |

I prefer to take Block first on elves. Just do the dodgeing at the very end of your turns - Block does keep them alive a bit longer and you can actually hit the ball carrier with a little less fear of having to use up a re-roll.

I've only set up one Amazon team, however, i've had multiple Norse experiences, and those are about the same price. heres my amazon setup:
8 Linewomen
3 blitzers
5 ReRolls
8 FF
and an APothecary
its a little rough ball handling at first but stacking a few of 'em around the ball before you pick it up is easy to do b/c they definetly can't be left next to an attacker |

My preferred amazon team is:
4 blitzers
2 catchers
1 thrower
4 linewomen
1 apothecary
3 RR and 6 FF
Rerolls are cheap and can be added later. 3 are a good start.
You have all the elite players, so you have a better chance of receving the odd MVP on them. This compo give you a lot of tactical choices, and makes for your opponent difficult to neutralize all the skilled players that can score a TD. |

ORCS:
This is an extremely powerful team setup, and with two rr the failure rate is lessened.
1 Ogre.
4 Black Orc Blockers.
3 Blitzers.
1 Thrower.
2 Goblins.
5 Fan Factor.
2 ReRolls.
With the Ogre and the Gobbos you have Throw Team Mate option, which gives you flexibility to this setup. The Thrower is essential also for even more flexibility with the Gobbos and Blitzers as ball carriers.
Black orc Blockers, Blitzers and the Ogre is a punch in the face of all teams, except maybe undead....
Try to buy the apoth as soon as possible.
DWARFS:
9 Longbeards.
1 Runner.
1 Trollslayer.
3 ReRolls.
8 Fan Factor
Longbeards is after my opinion essential for a winning dwarf team, they are the backbone of the team (well of course with 9 of them)
With 3 ReRolls and Sure Hands on the Runner, they can play football and even running football! Another Trollslayer (for a more bashing team) or a Runner (for the more running team) and apoth should be bought as fast as possible. If you get a lot of money on your hands the Ogre can put the final touch on the team. |

Beastmen, rerolls, and ff9 for the best long term growth. |

but if you cant pull off wins early with the weak line up the ff goes away quickly no? hmm....well I might reroll my team and give it a shot...i think i took 2 CW a mino 7FF 2 RRs and BM to finish it up...the 7ff hurt but i felt i would be a lil weak without some larger guys up front... |
