Hi guys,
I've read the rules but I cannot understand some things here:
1) May I do a "passage" (that is, one roll to pass, one roll to catch) on a player that is in an adiacent square, or it is forcely an hand-off ?
2) May I do in the same turn a pass, and a Throw team-mate?
In other words, throw-team-mate is considered like a pass action, or not?
3) So, when a throw team-mate is accurate, and the fling lands safely, does the thrower gain one SPP as a "pass"? |

1) Yea, you can throw the ball to an adjacent square.
2) Not in the client at least.
3) Not really sure (sorry), but I dont think yoiu get SPPs for TTM. |

In short :
1. Yes, your choice entirely to make the pass and catch or the handoff.
2. No, the TTM action is considered your pass action for the turn
3. No, no spp´s are awarded for a succesfull TTM

Had a game where an orc team scored 4 times in 4 turns on me thanks to TTM. He scores, I setup to receive, but rain causes me to bobble the pickup. In flies a gobbo, scoops up the ball in tz, dodges away and sprints for a touchdown. Ok, that was a cool play, lineup again. Same thing. Lineup a third time, same thing. It was just incredible! No failed rolls of any kind--all throws accurate, on feet, picking up the ball despite rain and tz's, dodging and sprinting to paydirt. All with rookies, without a single rr used. He almost made it 5 in 5, as he blitzed next kickoff, but for once I could pick up the ball and pass forward for a score of my own. But my thrower of that day still has nightmares about flying flings...including the one which landed, instead of right before him, but rather knocked heads in mid-air with him, ko'ing my thrower and badly hurting the gob... |
