So I hate my job pushing out anti-virus crap all day and spend most of my "work time" reading the fumbbl forums and such. What should I do? What would you do? Do you like your job? If so what do you do?

Well, at least you know there aren't any viruses in your crap. A healthy intestine is key to a healthy body!

... what kind of job lets you do that, anyway?

My job is sitting reading Fumbbl forums to! Well, spamming them, more often then not. I'm work in internet tech support. Dull, but some nice people, and they give me money for resetting passwords. I don't hate it.

@Shepherd: I push out computer anti-virus software over yon network. So unless their is an update to push I sit and stare/read fumbbl forums. =)
@Hammer: I also am in the military, single, and wish we could trade jobs so you could be home with your family. =)
@Mac: Sounds cool, that's the kind of job I would rather do so I can't wait to get out of the military. XD

Cmon fumbblers tell us more about yourselves and the jobs you luv/hate. Wink

Very admirable Laban, it's good to hear not everyone is a greedy, sumnab*ch like me. Well I wouldn't say greedy but definitely not selfless like you or my military brethren.

I send people to jail. I work with some of the most violent, disgusting, interesting and troubled people in society. I work with child molesters, rapists, murderers, thieves, drug abusers and wife beaters among the many. Among the agencies I work with are: RCMP, courts, judges, lawyers, victim servies, first nations people and the general public. None of my friends would ever do what I do for a living and they work in what I call cubicle jobs. But I only have to work 35 hours/week and I get 1 month off a year paid. The worse thing that could happen in my job is I sent a bad guy to jail or had a bad person arrested!

I teach. Destructive, insolent, obnoxious teenagers. Love my job, hate them. It would be so much easier to teach if the students weren't there.

@Wolf: Sounds awsome, does a job like that pay good? I would love to be the guy who sends criminals to jail.
@Paul: You have got to be kidding, Mr. Smash and Bash is a baby nurse. That's great! I can't believe you only make minimum wage doing that though. All the nurses I've known make way more than minimum even the CNAs.
@chef: ROFL. That was beautiful, almost poetic.

I used to learn how to throw grenades, drive armoured fighting vehicles and fire amazing weapons like the HK and Minimi with the odd riot and war thrown in for good measure.

i work in a bar. i work to live, not the other way around. i earn my money, go home and forget about it and relax. too many people i know get too stressed because they let their jobs run their lives. i'm not rich, but i get by, and i always have a little left over to spend on a nice meal with my girlfriend, or a holiday now and again. or damn collectible card games.....

I work in a Bank 2 days a week, which is hell! I go to bed with worry every night in case they come back to me the next day and say i am £300 short! I also work in a Hardware Store/Builders Yard Office where i deal with some of the most obstinate farmers you are likely to meet!

The rest of the week i am in college doing a computing course, and Sundays is spent treating sheep feet in the rain! Or lambing. So i am usually working 7 days a week!

I end up so tired when i get home i cant be bothered to go and socialise, nearest thing you can call civilisation (or cinema, or other entertainment) is 12 miles away so for the time being, i have been spent on FUMBBl a fair bit, but that will change in the summer!
