You shouldn't use all capitals because SHOUTING is considered rude - use normal mixed case instead. Also meaningful subjects will get a lot better answers than meaningless ones. |

The help/faq section usually gets written/updated by peeps who have been playing for years and may or may not be aware of what they take for granted as "common knowledge", often assuming everybody knows some of the basics. It's questions like yours which help to refine the help/faq and make it more useful for persons new to the game/site/both. So feel free to keep asking questions, don't feel put down by the rudeness of some who will tell you to "shut up and do a search" or something to that effect. Maybe you don't know how to do a search, or maybe you didn't even know you CAN do a search. Either way, we're a community, and that means helping each other out, esp if that help only takes a few seconds of time.
For anybody who feels the need to flame the stupidity of innocent questions as being irrelevant and a waste of your time, why do you feel compelled to waste even more time by pointing this out for all to see? Just move along, soldier, and save the comments for those with something constructive to say. Not to say that the responses in this thread have been rude--in fact, it's been just about the most decent and useful answering to a question I've seen in quite a while here. Just venting a little against the insensitivities of others in other, similar threads... |
