Contrary to its advertisement, I found this post to be very typical, even quite mundane, of the fouling posts in general.

fouls do not represent your 'RL' behaviour. it can be a strategic move, it can be fun, it can be a necessity. some players continuously foul... others don't. if u aren't happy about it, pick on your opponent's DP, and foul him to death. otherwise ignore the fouls, and his/her players will be sent out...

imo, fouling a team which has low AV isn't very sportmanlike... but very efficient!

I find that a DP players are more feared than mummies. True or False?

Hrm. I guess, for me, it would depend on the team I'm playing. I'd fear a couple DPers on a team more with higher AV and with a better team. Mummies against elf teams (especially those unfortunate linemen that just have to be on the LoS at the start of a drive), is ugly. Blood Bowl indeed.

The real question of this thread is:

Does the 'crunch' of a wellplaced foul on a +ST MB/PO/Tackle WD sound better than the 'crunch of a fling DP fouling a skillless rotter goat?

I don't particularly enjoy fouling... But with some people the reaction you get by fouling is just priceless Wink

By God, somebody needs to turn this into a fouling thread that isn't average (so far, let's be frank, it's sort of below average).

GREAT FOULS IN LITERATURE

Fair is foul and foul is fair
The Weird Sisters, Macbeth

Lord Foul in the Thomas Covenant series

Fair speech may hide a foul heart.
Sam Gamgee, The Two Towers

Murder most foul, as in the best it it; But this most foul, strange, and unnatural.
Ghost, Hamlet

Erm, I think around 80% of BB players love fouls.

So you are in the huge majority, J, and everyone thinks just like you

The Bloodbowl arena is a nice place where you can easily overcome your natural inhibition threshold to perform evil tasks.

Hommage to The Crumblers

Twas a drizzly day where it did rain
The halflings looked onward they looked so mundane...
They watched with their beady small eyes
Their latest opponents from their graves arise
The Chef put his Necromantic delights,
And distracted they were from the skeletons in tights
A rabid pack of the halflings pulled down,
The Werewolf bellowed and so did he snarl
But it was in vain as Johnny Stepped up
And booted his head and hit with his club.
The Referee sent Him off but it was too late
For the poor wolf only death did await.

Ow.. and fouling isn't a green fluffy alien. Fouling is like getting the last twinky from a fat chick. Sweet, filled with creamy goodlyness and somewhat annoying for the recipient

im going to create new modes of bad ettiqutte anyway.

forget t16 fouls, crowd pushes etc...
forget hiring stars after an agreement....

my new bad behaviour:
hiring wizzards (after the agreement of course) and not using them till t16 when as the last action of the game you lightning bolt someone for no reason at all.
see... i make a valid contibution to this site. i find new ways for you to annoy each other Laughing
