Answer: some do. You may find it stupid, you might find it insane. But some do.

personally i apologise if the death is caused from a foul... and if the SI does something painful like -1st to a black orc...

of course, if its my opponent's star, i celebrate!

I like to apologise when i make particularly stupid moves... which happens on a pretty regular basis Very Happy

Apologising about dead/injured players .... well, it depends on the player, the coach, and just my mood at the time.

I used to apologize. I don't anymore.

I used to whine and b**** about excessive fouling. I don't anymore...

You all should try this herb.

Depends on the situation. I'm most likely to say 'ouch, nasty' when I cause a kill or perma-injury, but there are times when I'll say sorry. Usually when I'm playing a squishy team and only really wanted a pushback in order to get the TD or whatever.

And if I injure something on a bashy squad (or a wardancer/werewolf/gutter runner), then 'Woot!' is the only sensible thing to say.

But generally, if I say sorry then I probably am, I don't play to cause cas, I'm usually happy with a knockdown. Since I play mostly DEs I know what it's like to play with a bunch of cripples, and don't want to put anyone else in the same situation. (Well, unless they deserve it, anyway)

The apologizing is getting worse, too. It used to be that people would just apologize for RIPs or permanent injuries. Recently, my opponents have been apologizing when one of my players is BH.

At this rate, soon people will be apologizing for every stun....Wink

    4)silence

Wizard, you seem to think very lttle of the people who share exactly the same hobby as you. what makes you think everyone here is lazy pizza guzzling geeks? is it because you are that and asume the other coaches are too or is it that you have a genuine belief that you are vastly superior to all the geeks that obviously constitute the rest of the world but you?
also as we are so inferior to you all you obviously dont actualy need to read what others write. a lot of the posts before your first were actualy in agreement with your general view of their only pixels and dont matter.
there is one thing that do matter here however;
the site rules regarding language and personal attacks. we might all be just pizza guzzling fat geeks but some of us are of the opinion that our views matter and we are allowed to express them. and yes you do have the right to counter these with your own opinions but if all you can do is throw insults and flaunt the rules you agreed to you will soon find yourself losing your forum privaleges.
i do agree with you that apologising for hurting some computer pixels is wrong but i also think acting supirior and insulting towards everyone is wrong.....

.... but what do i know? im just a fat pizza guzzling geek Wink

again with the sweeping generalisations Sad
plenty of people play without knowing they have the win pinned down..... i'll give you a match with my khemri or zombies anytime you like to prove it and i know a lot of other coaches the same.
