3) make a rule that all teams must have in their bio that they are a member of OMU + an explaination of what this means
4) offer bunnypuncher huge bags of imaginary gold for the lease of his idea
5) try banning or restricting dp's
6) make winning/ tds as important as injuries

1: Was planning on that.
2: Good idea.
3: Why, exactly? Makes sense a bit, but why require it?
4: /me gives Bunnypuncher bags'o'gold.
5: BOO! And from you. Hmmm. Well, if you say so, it's probably true.
6: I will. Although injuries will be important, so will beating the other team.

number 3: because it will mean that the opponents understand what they are in for and will enjoy it more and provide a greater challenge. it also helps protect noobs

number 5: i realise it may sound hypocritical to suggest the restricting of dp's but i do have reasons.
first as i said, if you surround an orc and dp him its no harder than doing the same to a fling or elf. if the idea is to challenge yourselves then restricting dp is the best way to go imo.
second, it will prevent it from devolving into an "ive got more dp than you" competition and will encourage more skillfull bashing

But unfortunately most of these mangling unions end up as a bunch of guys cherrypicking their games over people who can't fight back in an attempt to become the "#1 basher". About as brave and challenging as setting up a halfling mangling union in my opinion.

Oooh, good idea. I always felt that elves were far too difficult to injure, and that trying to go after dwarves and orcs was even worse. A halfling mangling union (HMU) is an excellent idea. I'll be happy to join with my TR 224 dwarves. However, I must warn you that they refuse to play teams with DP, as that is a broken skill. Therefore, they will not accept matches from halflings with DP.

Origami, I actually thought about doing that, but then I realized there would be less fling teams for me to pick on.

I'm going to ignore all your challenges the way you ignore my EMU Challenges. Crying or Very sad

Dammit! That won't work. Maybe I will play you and kick yer butt then, instead! Twisted Evil

Seriously, I don't think there is enough talent on FUMBBL to pull a group like this off. hehehhe But please look me up if you want to try!

This is from the guy that can't freakin' win against elves, most of the time. heheheh

Personally, I'm not a fan of the various *MUs. But if they followed the following 3 rules, I think they'd add more than they take away from FUMBBL:
1) No points unless you win the game.
2) OMU members must tell their opponent that they are an OMU member while offering a match.
3) Unranked teams only.

Those are good ideas, except why the unranked?

Because ranked is an open competative division where your goal should be winning the games instead of killing teams and ignoring winning while doing so.

But everyone plays like they want.

Why not just create an MU for every race and be done with it already...

p.s. You are still missing the UMU (Undead Mangling Union) also known as the Inquisition Wink

Not to mention the SMU (Scale Manglin Union)
VMU (Viking Mangling Union)
BMU (Block Mangling Union)
LMU (Lame Mangling Union)
and of course the ILTHOGMU(I Like To Hit On Girls Mangling Union)

I can probably squeeze in a few more...

You forgot the IGMEOYMU, a group created to get the ref!

You missed out on the kaos horde. That bred alot of bad feeling for any kind of MU at all.

The Army of Nagash is probably the only respectable mangling union as such.
