Hi there everyone!!!
Just thought I would say hi to the fumbbl community. I have just started up and am downloading the system stuff so soon I will be able to join the fun and games.
Read lots of the forums and it seems like a nice friendly place.

Hehe thnx. I did use the search button and did not see too many people just saying "hi". Neither is there a section on the forum to introduce yourself. Hope I have not annyoed too many people.
Whilst responding - can anyone recommend the best few chat systems that go with fumbbl? I have tused Mirc before but dont like it so much. Any ideas are welcome. |

Not at all. He's just being silly. Usually people ask a question that has come up a thousand times and someone (with good intentions) tells them to try a quick search. In the case of welcome/greetings, it is intended to be funny because... well... you know it's ok to post a welcome thread specifically because a bunch of other people have done so. No worries there.

The User Guide has a small list of IRC clients you could look into. Most PC users use either Hydra or mIRC. I, personally, really rather like X-Chat. Chatzilla works quite nicely as well. If you're already using Firefox or Mozilla, I'd try Chatzilla first, then Hydra and XChat (both are free!). See what you like best.

yes BMM is right it was a joke. Usually you get a guy asking "What do you think of:
-fouls
-one turner
-whiner
-whatever else
and you get a plenty of answers of guys that say
"just use search button you noob!!! And read the user guide"
and usually that kind of tend to annoy me when it is said in a negative way. So it was just irony here.
(ps that was why I wrote: this is a joke) |
