Here is a thread in which to post the links to games that, in our view, were exceptionally well played or at least are good to watch as a perfect example of a particular strategy of play.
I begin with this one:
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=906006
In which Jinxed's DE actually managed to win 3-1 against my orcs, despite being in a definite numerical disadvantage. That's a very good example of how to play Dark Elves..
..and (ehm) also how NOT to play orc-cages.
P.S. Jinxed had to retire his team after that game... but one has to say that those DE went out with a bang!!!! |

Was a funny game indeed! |

C'mon dudes, you may do better, I'm sure...
FUMBLL has a gargantuan games archive and i won't believe that the oldies here can't remeber at least ONE good match to show us.
Important: we want only matches that are actually well-played (obviously in the proposer's opinion) with maybe a clever move or a flawless tactic. Here is not the place for strokes of luck or dicerapes...

One of the most memorable games from my beloved woodies, realy worth watching, very spectacular game:
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=779665
I played more than 40 ST up in rating against a Chaos Pact team, but still had to give away a handicap. I also was with 6 players for most of the game. Somehow I still managed to win 4-3 |

Circular_logic is by far the best Dark elf coach I've ever seen. You should definitely watch some of his matches. |

I had a team DarkArk 11 Raiders, they were DE. They had an impressive rating of 5/8/26 and in its rank played several players;
a thrower Pas syl and one blitzer Ors'eil were particularly superb.
Most of the matches they played were atrocious so they are worth watching for pure fun.
But some matches, especially with thunderhammer chaos blue and yellow, were absolutely brilliant. They did defend in a spectacular manner thank to their blodger rank and its blodger jumpy blitzer performed raids against the chaos warrior ball carrier.
It ended 2-3 for him but that WAS!!!! a match
BTW the rematch ended 1-5 for him
Then the FF went down to an absmal 2...
Sigh
had to retire them.
Band of suicide losers... |

This Match is a perfect example for anyone new to BBowl of two things.
1 - How to perfectly cage against a MUCH more agile team
2 - What can go wrong if U dont compensate for early bad luck (or good luck for the opponent as this case.)
Just thought since this was in the Tactics section it may help anyone who comes looking. |

I don't understand at all? The human player had a bunch of good armour rolls but still allowed lots of blitzes on his ball carrier but got lucky there too? Very one sided game. The WE team had three players left after the first half but still the human coach was struggling to keep the ball safe. |

I think what he is saying is that the key to working a cage against woodelves is to kick the tree when he is down until he is dead. |
