i started a new skaven team.
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=209282

after the first game i got two skill rolls for 2 gr. one was db 6 one db 2.

str3 is a no-brainer but what shall i take with the double.
i don't like vll and want to play all gr defensivly. so i usually take block-sidestep-shadowing-tackle. now i'm undecided to take dauntless, claw, horns, guard or maybe something completely different.

any advice is appreciated.
thx in advance
M

Always good to have a big handed gutter, it works well in tandem with strip ball or simply in those cases when opponent fails a pickup or a pass.

I also think Dauntless is the right choice here. Next three skills should then be block, horns, tackle, leap Wink

If you want to use him on defence, take dauntless.

Personally, I like to develop one GR to a one-turner, so I would take VLL. A one turner is handy to have. I usually never field him, so that he doesn´t score when others could (provided I have 12+ players ready to field), but use him only on turn 7 or 8 set up to score a crucial game deciding TD.

foul appearance passblock is pretty nice in defense as well, combined with ag4 some interceptions even maybe.

For defence p-tail is nice combined with sidestep, shadowing and tackle

mm, yeah, but when I see a GR, all I think is: Hit, and hit hard. And not run away.

Sure. But not if you are an (wood)elven catcher with the ball. In addition it can be a real pain not to be able to get away if you need to. But its all a matter of playing style. I would make him a one turner.
