Actually, the chance to roll doubles is 1/6. But that's not the point.

Well... actually... if you think of it that way you only have 10/36 to roll double since 5+5 and 6+6 can be used for better stuff Wink

EDIT: Eh, yeah, it should be 6/36 (or 4/36 if you remove 5+5 and 6+6).

LOL. I was gonna offer real advice and then saw this. Fama, you are so wrong I know it, and I suck at math! To calculate the odds of two seperate events occuring similtaneously, one multiplies the odds of each occuring on it's own, hence 1/36. (6*6=36).

On a more relavent note, SF is a must! Either SF and MA or SF and SF.

Yes, Macavity... YOU are so wrong :p

The chances of rolling doubles are really 1/6, because the first dice can be anything, it is the second dice that needs to match the first, which occurs only once on its 6 squares.

Or to put it differently: write down all combinations you could throw with 2 dice. Count all doubles and then divide by 36 (the number of all different possibilities).

BY the way, SF is the way to go on both IMO.

Yes, chance of rolling double-something is 1/36. But taking into account that the double roll can be 1,2,3,4,5 or 6, it's 6*1/36, or 1/6. Rolling +st is 1/36 tho... Mmm... +st...

Edit: On the topic... MA is always good, but SF is GREAT. I'd say SF/ma or sf/sf.

I like pie.

So.. I DO suck at math. The world spins again.... Though I'll wait for sk8bcn or Christer for the final word. I know smart sounding people when I hear them!

Go for SF on both. I had the same trouble with this team http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=206598 and even though I only played 1 game with the new skills the sf was by far the best skill.

Smart sounding people often are smart, sometimes they just pretend. I would fall in the latter category. on those rare occasions, when I sound smart.

I would take MA on both, MA6 - MA7 is a Huge difference, otherwise maybe MA + SF.

I agree that SF+hypno is a very nice combo, but also pass makes your options wider: the SF guy can dodge through and you can pass to him with the other guy. imho pass is idd a nice bonus to a team which needs to save RRs for OFAB.

I'd go Pass/SF, or SF/SF.
