Although this is a good question, the README already answers it:

Quote:
*** A special note on Allies teams ***

There has been an ongoing problem with the Allies teams not meshing correctly with the
client, and it will not be fixed in the forseeable future. A quote from Christer:

"The rosters actually had race displayed at one point. It was removed due to performance reasons.

The database queries that were necessary put an unnecessary strain on the server so I had to

remove it.

Then the teams were cancelled and I haven't bothered to look back at the problem to see if it's

possible to add the race info back without making "expensive" database accesses. Essentially, the

mixed teams are "grandfathered" and left on their own because of me prioritizing other things

when I take the time to code things."

So, you are on your own with the Allies teams.

No, it does not support Allied teams, for the simple fact that it cannot. If I could set it up so there would be no user modification required, I would have the UFP support them.

Looks lovely, but the last time i messed with winRAR it took over my whole system and, without permission, altered things all over the place (even preventing me from playing BB for a week) and had to be flushed out like a virus. I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole.

Anyone plan to Winzip mirror it?

And before anyone points out that winRAR is excellent and all the problems were probably my fault and if i only spent 8 years as a computer nerd studying all sorts of stuff inconsequencial and useless to my life I'd see the error of my ways and ......

Don't. I dont care. I want things easy.

The main issue I have with WinZIP is it's weak compression ratio and that it does not support multiple file formats (unlike WinRAR).

Power Archiver is another program that can extract RAR files.

I don't have a problem making a ZIP version except that I have no webspace. People have been generous enough to host the RAR version. I do not want to have them host multiple versions.

However, if someone wants to put it up on their website, send me a PM with the link and I'll add it to the post.

BBM fails his email comprehension quiz! Razz

I uploaded a .zip archive up along with the .rar for just such a possiblity.

(edit: also went back and flexed some forum mod might by stealthily adding the link to the .zip file to your original post)
