Hi My team:

as you can see, I'm down on numbers and skills, and was wondering what i should spend my 70k on to help improve my chances. I'm leaning towards the Freebooters, but i dont know wether a Star would be a better option due to the extra skills.

Any ideas?

You have many positionals, so you just need "helping forces".
I´d go for a new lino, in order to receive the hits of the opposing team.

Well, it all depends on how important it is for you to win the next game.

I voted buy a lino. That is a middle way. Brings you up to 11 players and the cash is not "wasted", so a good way for the long term planning.

If you wanna win the game, I´d hire Zug. Personally I think he fits better for your team and opponent than Zara. But after the game you will probably be in a worse situation: The star leaves your team, so you are down to 10 again and probably will have even less cash.

If you don´t care at all (you might even pull a win, provided you get a bit lucky), do not burn any cash, and start with 10 players. After the game you can buy an Ogre or another Blitzer.

You need someone to contain his ogre - so ZUG is the way to go IMO. Sure, zara has blodge, BUT she has an penaltyroll attached.

His ogre is just overgrown lino with MB. Can be pinned with freebooted lino. There is 5/9 chance (which is around 50%) that ogre will knock your lino down. Unless he gains two assists to 3d block - which of course would engage his additional players.

There is also 1/9 chance of ogre knocking down himself. Not mention 1/6 for bone head.

So just pin him down and do not let him use guard to give assists.

I assume you've already started praying to Nuffle for ogre's MB not being so mighty. Wink

Zug if you want to win. Expect him to be fouled to dugout before halftime, tho.

Otherwise I'd say lino.
