My local club is starting a nice little league again and I am interested to give it a shot, I still have classical dorfs & HE's from the dungeon bowl set but was wondering whether I should indulge in getting a new team!
Only I cannot make my mind up - therefore oh stout fumbblers I call upon you to help . Or to mock me! |

I like humans. Go with humans. I once saw some really nice converted Bretonnians at TBB, but I can't find them anymore. |

I voted humies! But that is just because they are my favourite team. (If you haven't tried playing with a human team, you haven't tried played blood bowl! But that's just my opinion!) |

tbh depends on the league format/setup
Goblins can be a real suprise to most teams in a starting league, however if its a dwarf heavy league , wont be much fun.
Orcs will give you a solid start, and develop nicely.
What do i use in starting league? read my above post |

4 Blitzers
3 linemen
2 RR
9 FF
Trust me! I won a few tournaments with that roster |

and consider the type of tournament or league. How far up will it go in TR probably? Or do you play a swiss system with automatic resurrection.
If you go by the book, orcs may be your best choice. For swiss-type try humans or skaven. |

man... you should know what you wanna play and what not.... atm i wouldnt choose one of the named teams...
skavs are good but tend to die so i never took them... humans, havent played them till now either.... dwarfs, goblins and orcs have been always a little boring to me... so why dont you take something like.... ..... .... undead? |

I am playing a dwarf team in a table top league (my third) with over 30 players.
Its the best team I ever played. I reached the final (wich I will play next sunday) and its dwarfs against dwarfs. The best you can do when playing dwarfs is to give everyone exept runners "mighty blow" first, than they will advance further.
Blitzer do very good with stand firm as second, others with guard.
Trollslayer can use tackel as second. |
