I am running this KO Cup:

And 2 coaches complain about lizardmen.

They say they would not play in this cup, because they are bashy !

What do you think ?

Norse can play in agile cup ...

But for the moment I haven't see a norse team there ...

they're definitely no agility team just because of the skinks. Most times the maximum number of skiinks on the field is 4. Orcs and Ogre can do that with goblins too and I hope you dont count them as an agility team.

Lizards are most definitely a hybrid team like humans or necro. They may appear bashy because of all the strong players but you will never see a lizardmen team with a lot of guard/mb as the saurus skill up to damn slowly for that to ever happen. In game 4-8 or so of a league, lizards can bash pretty good (when they have bought all their saurus) but then their lack of block,guard and dp makes them fall behind the true bashers.

My Ko cup is named Agility Cup, but it should be named the No Bashy Cup ...

My question was : are lizardmen bashy or not ?

The question isn't: are lizardmen agile or not ?

I voted "yes" in this kind of tournament, bashy like my amazon team could be with tons of tacklers (and some mighty blowers)...
In fact I reached the final last tourney smashing easily skavens and similar... Lizards like albator's team, norses and zons are surely bashy in this Agile Cup

Haha I looked at Albators team, it really is specialized for play against agility teams. Not often you see a lizardmen team without non-skilled saurus. Six with block+tackle certainly looks funny. Smile
On the other hand he is sacrificing a lot to get all that tackle. Without any dp:s or guards and only mb on the krox I really don't see how this team can be the cause of bash-complains against lizards. It's certainly not as bashy as an evil amazon team.

it rather depends to who you compare, as gary says. Undead are not so bashy compared to their kherian brothers.

I was just curious who made this tricky and genuine poll... Albator... Everything is clear now. All I can tell about it is that above 200tr/st even goblins are meaner then lizardmen.

Usually sauri lack skills to bash and skinks simply cannot. In addition you usually miss DP - or you sacrifice a precious double on a skink.

You would need 31 SPP on all Saurus to make them as Bashy
Skill Progression is Block, Tackle or Guard, then maybe Break Tackle or MB

BUT you are extremly slow to get them skills cose you wont make TD´s except when getting a 6 or a touchback
