Yeah, Hi. I'm new to FUMBBL. So... I need some help on hiring. I want to start a human team cause it looks like the easiest to be. Can someone help me out who to hire for the team?

and pick orcs, humans are trickier to start with than appearances would suggest.

Actually, for some reason, I usually do badly with rookie orcs, and do better with rookie humies. More starting skills or something? Passer, catcher, blitzer, compared to passer and blitzer?

Edit: Of course orcs have higher AV, so they're better early on.

Innate RR skills (catch, pass, surehands) allow for some gratuitous dice rolling, and the team RRs are cheaper than Orc RRs.

Maybe something like this ?

3 RR = 150k
FF 9 = 90k
4 Blitz = 360k
2 Catch = 140k
5 Linos = 250k
______________
/= 990k

dont worry about the ogre, you'll buy him after 2 games.

Get a thrower instead of a 2nd catcher. Personally i forgo catchers in starting team for a chance to start with apotechary. You have 4 ma 7 players, scoring shold not be a problem. And starting with a safety net for your players is always good idea Wink
