The Khemri team Death From B'elow coached by ankkh won Blutballas Cup XII in relative ease with a 2-0 win over BB-Pad's undead team Evil Breeds Evil.
Evil played their 1st cup game without the services of the Count and it showed. Meanwhile Death brought in Ramtut to bolster their strength advantage. On their opening drive Evil let a sure TD get away with a trip over the goal line by Huni. Ramtut and his AG2 was able to pick up the ball and go coast to coast in 4 turns for a 1-0 halftime lead.
In the 2nd half, the Khemri worked on their patented, eliminate the enemy from the pitch then stall at the goal line play to secure the 2-0 win and the championship.
Ankkh had a tough run through the championship. As a new Blutballas team they had to start < 175TR and win vs Ogres, Chaos, past champion Orcs, and more Khemri befire getting to the finals. No offense at all to BB-Pad, but the road the the championship was much tougher than the final game.
Grats to ankkh for winning the Cup in his 1st Blutballas attempt!!
Blutballas XIII will begin on March 1 with "serious" recruiting starting up in February. |
