This is my team

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=214851

I am after a skill for Ikductor, Lineman.

I have had a look through the previous posts regarding skills and due to my relative noobness I am still unsure what to get for this little fella.

So far I am thinking Guard but due to the fact I am playing Woody's next I am thinking maybe something like nasty like Claw or RSC? Twisted Evil

And ofc there's block, or should I wait to get that on a normal skill roll?

Thanks in advance for any help, much appreciated!

vs. woodies, claw indeed. Another FA would kill their passing game, though. RSC will diminish no. of games you might get, 'cause it's overpowered imo.

Playing in a league so RSC won't cost me games Smile

Well played in our game Jurassic. I'd take claw as its armour breaking will also be useful against the tougher races that are in the league who won't bother to pass much. Definetely leave block until next skill (hes only 6SPP away from that anyway). Guard is also a good choice but is something that the Stormvermin/Rat Ogre have access to normally so it isn't as automatic a choice as with elves (esp with mutations available)

I'm a fan of FA for screwing up their attempts to catch the ball in your backfield. With 2 FAs (and wait until they get pass block! Potentially range 6 FA, when it comes to passing plays), you've got a pair of safeties that can be really annoying for any agility team.

Otherwise, if strength teams are your concern, I'd grab Guard now for matches later. Guard isn't entirely useless against woodies either, even with their penchant for spreading the field.
