Hel is pleased. The undead have flocked to her tourney before all others. With three Undead teams and two Khemri, this <b><u>Hel's Niflheim Challenge</b></u> should prove to be the bloodiest of them all.
Of course, no Humans dared to venture below ground to fight. They know that if they did, they would soon be undead too. Hel WAS a little surpirsed that only one team of Orcs applied. Of course, Orcs are such a cowardly race they only play when they have the distinct advantage.
The only question left for Hel is which Undead team will win.

Frey was not a happy elf. Despite calling forth her best and brightest stars to play in her honor, only two elven teams chose to brave the dangers. The <b><u>Frey Invitational</b></u> is instead swarming wth Chaos Dwarves and Necros. It's a sad sad day on Gladsheim.
Sure those elves in the Champion's Cup locker rooms talk a good game. But when push comes to shove, they'd rather pick flowers.

With a blink of an eye Hel's smile turned upside down. First, her V-Town beatdowns (Khemri) coached by lordchaos retreated in the most cowardly manner with a concession. And to SKAVEN!!!!. Then her other favorite Khemri Khamaseen, coached by Lurking Grue, were humiliated 3-1 by more SKAVEN!!!. At least the Shawn of the Dead lost to respectable Orcs.
It's up to Chappy's Cryptozoologist Nitemares (Necro) to bring the Hel's Niflheim Challenge trophy home to the underground. Unfortnately, the Escaped Rats and La Grande Peste (both Skaven) are running circles around her undead and are threatening to make a mockery of her tourney.
Imagine having to hand Hel's Trophy over to a gutter runner. Somone's gonna burn in Hel for this!!!

<b>Loki Disapointed as Khaines Warriors Becomes Loki Invitational Champs</b>
Khaines Warriors coached by Serxes won the Loki Invitational 2-0 over a game but outclassed Kaos Posse squad. Loki was pulling for the posse, but under orders from Odin, was not allowed to intervene to help his Chaos friends.
Although not his 1st choice Loki was heard saying, "if Chaos doesn't win this thing I hope some Darkies come in and wreak some havoc."
The Warriors toughest game of the tourney was actually the opening round match vs some hungry halflings. After that scare, they handled the chaos and lizardmen rather easily.

<b>Slowjokes Wins in Battle of the Short and Stubbies</b>
Slowjokes coached by lordchaos won the Battle on Bilfrost Bridge I 2-0 vs UHI's Brewmasters Masterpieces. After a cakewalk over a tough amazon team, the Jokes had to win back to back games vs fellow dwarf teams for the title.
Heimdall awarded the 1st place trophy to runner Gunner. (or is that Gunner the runner?) He also advised the dwarves that to win the next Cup, they will have to pick on someone slightly larger than their own size.

<b>Bashers and Dashers waltz over fellow CDs for Last Racial Title</b>
Bashers and Dashers coached by Ug won the Frey Invitational 2-1 vs IanFidel's Obsidian Fists. Despite being an invitational for elves, the B&D team didn't see a single pointed ear on the way to the championship. Instead, they fought off some Necros and lots of CDs.
In fact, it was quite an embarrassing showing for the elves, who were too scared to show up to defend their own god's honor. It was so bad that the only Pro Elf team that signed up didn't even show up. Says Basher and Dancer star BC Mobego " Hrumph .... we would have stomped them into da ground anyways."

<b>Estensioni Drives Home 2nd Hel Nilfheim Challenge in Dwarf Fashion</b>
Estensioni coached by Gary_Gygax won Hel's Nilfheim Challenge II 2-1 over Mully's Mudlsingers. The Dwarves, comfortable in the underground setting wasted no time in showing who was boss with 4 CAS over the breakable opponents.
Their other win over Undead in round one, was not pleasing to Hel, who never the less, had to award the trophy to the dwarf captain.
This is the 1st win by a dwarf team in the CCC challenge.

<b>Smack Arounds smack around Some Women</b>
Smack Arounds coached by Keggiemckill won possibly the easiest tournament they've ever played with a 2-0 win over Lurking Grue's San Josefina Earthquakes. After their 1st round opponent Styria's Highlights didn't even show for the match, they were granted a championship match with the dodging zons, who were dodgeless vs the CDs.
Loki was extremely disapointed that the chaos Highlights chickened out for the match, but at least was able to drink with the chaotic winners afterwards. Chaotic Dwarves that is ...

<b>Wilwarin Brings Frey Invitational II Crown Back to the Elves</b>
Wilwarin coached by Ug won the Frey Invitational II 3-2 vs casimir's La Grande Peste. This hard fought game went into OT where the elves had too much of a numbers advantage over the rats to be stopped. Had the OT coin toss gone the other way ...... . This was the 2nd of back to back wins vs skaven for Wilwarin and the high flying elves scored 12 TDs in their 3 tourney games.
Coach Ug has won both Frey Invitationals with 2 different teams. Wilwarin has won back to back tourneys after claiming the Vidar Invitational II in April. Ug also now joins Mully as the only 3 time winners in the CCC through May.

<b>Hamburger Helper Wins All Human Match for Battle on Bilfrost Bridge II Title</b>
Hamburger Helper coached by Mully won the Battle on Bilfrost Bridge II 4-2 vs keggiemckill's Sunshine Kids. The sun wasn't shining on the side of the kids though as 3 RIPs (1 apothed) greeted them on the pitch.
Heimdall was disapointed that not a single Norse squad had the balls to play for his honor but awarded the 1st place trophy to the human captain anyway.
The was the 2nd CCC win for Hamburger Helper and they now sit in 2nd place in the overall standings behind casimir's Whaaaaaa!.

<b>Bashers and Dashers win Race King crown in Playoff</b>
Bashers and Dashers coached by Ug won the Race King championship with a 3-0 victory over American Standards (pizzamogul). The playoff was necessary as both teams finsihed the season with 26 points. The CDs won their only Racial tourney back in February in the Frey Invitational. TR limits pushed them out of the Racials until October when they joiuned the Battle of The Bilfrost Bridge. A first round win would have guaranteed them the title, but they went down to eventual champion Spiking Voonerisms.
The beating they put on American Standards in this playoff game more than offset any disapointment from Bilfrost.
Grats on the crown Ug !
