I've had this team for quite a while, but went on a hiatus from fumbbl for a few months. So it hasn't gotten as many games as I'd have liked.
Skinktacular!
I'll post weekly (read:annual) updates of the team for my enjoyment.

Recently added the Kroxigor, any opinions?

I thought it would be fun and a challenge to play with just the skinks.

It can be very frustrating because often you have to dodge. relying on the dice is always a recipe for disaster.

It is a lot of fun though, especially when you score with very few players on the pitch Smile

Goblins with more movement but the loss of TTM.

I can see it being successful as TTM is not reliable but the MV8 is.

But we will never know how good the team is as he cherrypicks and refuses to play teams that might be hard like Chaos Dwarves, Dwarves and Wood Elves.

bah cherry picking??? hyow can he cherry pick with a team like that? does cherry not involve playing a worse team?ythat would be hard imo

he played 6 orcs team ffs and several ogres anyway why not play chaos dwarfs orcs are worse arent they?

All block is tough for small teams. If they have guard, you can hardly ever get a 1-die block.

All block and all Tackle is bad! A Longbeard/Chaos Dwarf have a 75% chance to knock down a skink in a 2D block (1 on 1 player = 2 D block)...

I dont get the no-wood elves part though.

The No Wood Elves is a joke, because I've never seen anyone refusing to play woodies before.

Probably happened, but not to my knowledge.

My Wood Elves have had challenges refused. By Ogres. Twice, at least. Back when they had 3 DP.

Can you blame them ? Not that Wood Elves aren't tough enough to beat as it is but for Ogres it's possibly the worst match up possible; plenty of agility to dodge away, movement to outrun them and take advantage of Bone Head rolls. Blodge on half the team, Strip Ball and probably no Sure Hands. Throw in 3 DPs and any Ogre team would probably think twice before accepting Razz

This was low-TR though. I think only the Wardancer had Blodge. No Strip Ball. And this was a permanently beaten up and short-handed team because they played every game against Khemri/Dwarves/Ogres/death-'flings at that point.

And it's still funny anyway. Laughing

Boo!!!! Kroxigor???? What's that garbage???? Sheesh..... If you're gonna play just Skinks, then play just skinks!! (though I sympathize with the no-dwarf policy.. when my halflings went up against them, it hurt....)
